That day I rode my bike to the Shelter for birdwatching, located in the northern part of the city.
To get there, I went through the park, which is an extension of the city's Sea Garden.
The Bird Watching Center is located in the area of the Burgas Salt Pans Protected Area.
I arrived there at the end of the day, shortly before sunset.
Atanasovsko Lake looked quiet and peaceful, and there were birds in it. It was nice to be in this place surrounded by this peaceful atmosphere.
There are gazebos and observation posts built around it from which you can watch the birds.
Some have interesting shapes, but they need renovation because they are collapsing.
There was an interesting structure made of fallen trees that resembled a huge nest.
