First Things First: What is Pasikon?
Pasikon isn’t one of those beaches buzzing with tourists. It’s quiet, raw, and so charming in its untouched beauty. The moment I stepped onto the soft white sand and saw the calm, crystal-clear waters stretching out under the sun, I knew, this was where summer magic happens.
The vibe? Totally laid-back. Think: swaying coconut trees, the sound of gentle waves, and not a single worry in sight.
Let’s Talk About That Swing
Now, let’s be real, a beach isn’t officially Instagrammable unless it has a dreamy swing hanging from a coconut tree, right? Pasikon understood the assignment.
There’s a gorgeous swing set up right by the shoreline, where you can swing into the salty breeze and forget the world for a moment. And right beside it? The famous bent coconut tree that’s basically Mother Nature’s perfect photo prop. You can climb it, pose on it, or just admire how perfectly it curves toward the sea, either way, it’s giving main character energy.
How to Get There (And What You Need to Know)
If you’re staying in General Luna, get ready for a mini road trip, about an hour’s ride, give or take. You can hop on a motorbike (the ultimate Siargao move) and enjoy every second of the drive. Rolling green hills, coastal views, and that warm island air hugging you the whole way… It’s the kind of journey that’s just as beautiful as the destination.
When you arrive, there’s just one thing you need to do: pay a ₱100 entrance fee and that’s it! No complicated rules, no extra charges. Just pure, unfiltered beach bliss waiting for you.
What to Bring (And What to Leave Behind)
• Sunscreen — because skin care is self-care, babes.
• Water and snacks — there aren’t a lot of stores around (which is kinda the point).
• Good vibes and your inner island girl spirit, you’ll need both!
And of course: leave only footprints, take only memories (and maybe a hundred photos if you’re anything like me).
Final Thoughts
Pasikon Beach isn’t just a place, it’s a feeling. A reminder that the best parts of life are often the simplest: soft sand, salty kisses from the sea, and swinging into summer with your heart wide open.
If you’re heading to Siargao anytime soon, don’t sleep on Pasikon. Go find your own little moment of magic, and don’t forget to swing a little higher while you’re at it.
P.S. I have about 400 photos of me swinging like a wild child, should I drop an OOTD blog next?
