RE: 27th June 2025 - Farewell To Hive.io

in Discovery-it4 days ago (edited)

The fork opened my eyes as to how things work round here. Moved my HIVE/STEEM Dolphin sized holdings to ETH, after the fork, with the hope that ETH may do a better job with Staked Governance.
ETH did a 10X in the four years of my holding it after our fork, yet not doing a better job at Governance in my opinion. Just a broken aspect of PoS perhaps?

Sold my ETH bag two days before its ATH last summer and bought my boat. Sold my home of 38 years about 4 months later. In a way that's what HIVE/STEEM/ETH did for me, in a convoluted and unintentional way.

Wishing you every success, @jin-out!

Pick up some BLURT while it's low. Even if you don't, many people from hive will drop their holdings here and take it where others cannot downvote and steal.

What kind of investor would actually stand up for the Downvoter mechanism as good tokenomics? Probably ONLY the ones who HAVE a gigantic hold over the ninja mined pool.

Thanks for stopping by @novacadian and i hope all is well with you.

Glad to know you also moved your earnings off Hive and into something more stable. I will certainly be doing the same.

As long as there are any Proof of Stake systems, decentralized platforms can and will become corrupted by greed over time. Hive doesn't have a proof of stake...more like pieces of shyte.

For now i have migrated over to the blurt blockchain. A better community, made up of people who all know the truth behind the HiveWatchers suckfest. The community's growing by the day and we need more genuine people on there.

Would you consider joining us over there?
