You know what? I have the same problem with my husband on how forgetful he is. Just like what you experience. And every time he did that, just like @mrsbozz, I felt like he didn't listen at all. And I felt bad for it of course.
Trust me, he probably feels bad too. It devastates me knowing I let her down sometimes. A lot of times I will just do what she asks right away before I forgot. Other times she knows that I am already focused on one thing, so it is better not to throw something else at me.
Oh yeah! I can relate to that, too. Whenever he's busy with something, I already expect that he won't be interrupted. Can't you do multitask? 🫣
No, I am horrible at multitasking. We already have about a million things bouncing around in our brains, trying to add actions to that is a recipe for disaster!
