Greetings and salutations Hivers. Today let’s go into another Three Tune Tuesday post.

Beatles - Martha My Dear (Naked Version)
Several years ago, Paul released Let It Be… Naked, which remixed all the songs from the original Let It Be album—minus Phil Spector’s sometimes grandiose overdubs, which Paul claims he always hated. (George and Ringo were more ambiguous about it, refusing to speak badly of Spector’s versions, though Ringo did say he enjoyed Let It Be… Naked.)
Anyway, this video takes that same back to basics philosophy and applies it to “Martha My Dear”, Paul’s love ode to his dog from the White Album. I think it works beautifully. See what you think!
VoicePlay (feat J.None) - The Devil Went Down to George
Here’s an a cappella twist on Charlie Daniels’s classic. Not nearly as good as the original, but definitely an interesting take.
They tagged this halloween on the video. Of Charlie Daniel’s catelog, this isn’t the one I’d pick for halloween, but this is probably his most famous song, so I can understand why they went with it.
Gigi Vibes - I will survive
A wild and soulful cover of Gloria Gaynor’s anthem. It doesn’t deviate too far from the original, but they absolutely nail the energy. That lead singer has a hell of a voice.
I think I’ve featured Cake’s version of this song before (and that’s still my favorite) but this one’s a fantastic rendition too.

So what’s your favorite?
