Lol, that perpetual license doesn't sound very perpetual...seems like a lawsuit there somewhere. But I guess it depends on the fine print in the original license...
Isn't Virtual Box open source and free? I haven't used it in years but I liked it when I was using it.
Virtual Box is yes, but that is owned by Sun/Oracle I think unless they got bought by someone else too. That works really well for one off instances, though many things are going toward dockers these days I guess. When a new company takes over, everything goes out the window!
