You are lucky that the States has so many independent eatery's dotted around. That is what I enjoy and loved travelling your country. In SA there are too many chains and you have to hunt for an independent.

        Yeah, that would really suck. There is something to be said for the consistency of a chain, but these small town private businesses can be some real diamonds in the rough.
