We only got outside the gates of the derby when we visited a couple years ago.

It used to be a big deal over here but now that I think about it, I haven't heard of it much over the last few years. Would be cool to see though
That doesn't shock me. I know that horse racing has always been a big deal in that part of the world.
Yes it's something special being down at a racecourse, feeling the ground shake when racehorses thunder past.
