Breakfast
Today was my day off from work, and I woke up feeling refreshed at 7:25 am. After my morning prayer, my friend surprised me with a video call, as if he'd been waiting for me to finish. We had a lengthy conversation, covering various topics, and I was delighted to see him express his happiness so freely. Usually, he's more reserved, but today he was beaming with joy. I teasingly pointed out that he'd finally dropped his ego as a man and was being more expressive. He often jokes that men don't show emotions like women do, and that they have to keep their feelings coded to maintain their ego.
Our call lasted from 7 am to 10 am, and it wasn't until then that my friend realized I hadn't eaten breakfast yet. He insisted that I end the call and prepare something to eat. Since it was already 10 am, I considered having swallow, but my friend advised me to stick to my usual breakfast of bread, egg, and tea, saving the soup for later.
After eating, I boiled some water for a bath, as the heavy rain outside made the air chilly. Once I was dressed, I called my friend back to let him know I was done and to mention that I planned to paint my nails. I wanted to give him a heads-up so he'd know when to call back.
My Nails before painting
After finishing my bath, I dedicated some quality time to giving myself a pedicure, carefully grooming my toenails before moving on to the fun part, painting them. However, I was undecided on the color. Initially, I leaned towards black, but I wanted to get my friend's opinion. Unfortunately, he was offline, so I couldn't ask for his input.
Instead, I decided to solicit the advice of my neighbor's kids. I called them over and asked for their suggestions. The first child enthusiastically recommended red, while the second child voted for black. With their input, I felt confident in my decision and ultimately chose black as the perfect shade for my toenails.
