Hello, Good evening Dbuzzers! Today in my walk back home. I passed by a part of the city which holds the oldest buildings which were once the pride of a prosperous city and today are totally abandoned and waiting for a budget to be one day renovated back to the initial state. I would have to read the city books historians have written over time to decipher what this building was about and used for in initial times back to the 18th century but I have heard it was a trade house as ships with merchandise came up the river to the area.
You can see the solid construction made with squared rocks used in forts.
Trees grow inside:

Original wrought ironing grates still intact. It shows the quality of the metal and framework used:

The front part with very detailed columns adorn the front overlooking the city river largely used for trade back in time:

The place is all closed not allowing access, probably for security, otherwise I would venture in to capture the inside.
Hope you liked it. Thanks for reading. I'll be back with more.
