Saludos comunidad de Hive. Tenía tiempo sin participar en el #TBT de los jueves en esta hermosa comunidad donde di mis primeros pasos. Las ocupaciones laborales me han impedido ser más constante.
Nuevamente me acerco aquí a la comunidad de #topfamily para participar en el jueves de TBT, esperando que pueda hacerlo más seguido.
El día de hoy quiero mostrarles una foto que tiene aproximadamente tres años. En esta foto me sentía muy feliz porque fue mi primer día de trabajo como ayudante de una óptica en el centro de Sincelejo Colombia. Estaba desempleada desde que había llegado a Colombia, había tenido trabajos muy ocasionales, pero esta vez era un trabajo más formal, por eso me sentía muy alegre. También me sentía alegre porque mi hermana era la encargada de la óptica y fue por ella que me contrataron, tenerla a ella allí me daba más confianza porque me ayudó mucho en cosas de ópticas que no manejaba y con su ayuda se me hizo mucho más fácil el camino.
Fueron momentos de enseñanza y aprendizaje donde pude aprender sobre los tipos de lentes, los tipos de montura, organizar pedidos, hacer facturas, aprendí a tener mucha paciencia porque a veces hay clientes difíciles.
Al tiempo de estar allí, mi hermana pasó de ser encargada de la óptica a ser la dueña y esto era aún mejor porque me sentía más segura y en confianza, laboralmente hablando.
Gracias a Dios me fue muy bien. La óptica me quedaba cerca de la casa y eso era lo mejor de todo y mi hermana a veces me permitía traer a los niños cuando la niñera no podía cuidármelos.
Desde el momento que empecé a trabajar allí mi vida empezó a mejorar un poco más; ya que, tenía un sueldo más estable. Me encargaba de las ventas y organizar los pedidos de los clientes. Aquí duré un año y seis meses trabajando porque después decidí venirme con mi esposo y mis hijos a Venezuela. Decisión difícil pero que debíamos tomar.

In this photo, I felt very happy because it was my first day of work as an assistant at an optician's shop in downtown Sincelejo, Colombia. I had been unemployed since I arrived in Colombia. I had had very occasional jobs, but this time it was a more formal job, so I felt very happy. I also felt happy because my sister was the manager of the optician's shop, and it was because of her that I was hired. Having her there gave me more confidence because she helped me a lot with optical things I wasn't familiar with, and with her help, my path became much easier.
They were learning and teaching moments where I learned about the types of lenses, the types of frames, organizing orders, and invoicing. I learned to be very patient because sometimes there are difficult customers.
During my time there, my sister went from being the manager of the optician to the owner, and this was even better because I felt more secure and confident, professionally speaking.
Thank God, things went very well for me. The optician was close to my house, and that was the best part. My sister sometimes let me bring the children when the nanny couldn't watch them.
From the moment I started working there, my life started to improve a little more; I had a more stable salary. I was in charge of sales and organizing customer orders. I worked there for a year and six months, and then I decided to come with my husband and children to Venezuela. It was a difficult decision, but one we had to make. #
