La foto que muestro hoy es de un momento que marcó un punto de partida en mi carrera literaria, ya que es el testimonio visual de la presentación de mi libro para niños, RITMOS .
Este pequeño libro marco mi entrada oficial en el catálogo de escritores de la editorial ÁCANA, así que quizás no es grande su valor literario pero en lo personal ha sido determinante.
Además de lo que sucedió esa noche,que no fue poco para mí, fue una hermosa presentación hecha por la escritora y directora de la editorial en aquel momento, Evelin Queipo Balbuena.
Tuve el apoyo de mis amigos escritores y un público infantil grandioso, a pesar de ser en horario nocturno.
Pero mirar la foto me lleva a otra reflexión, me acompañan posando para la cámara, @yuraimatc y Liannet Molina Arias dos excelentes poetas/narradoras que además son mis niñas amadas.
Hoy, a dos años de esa fotografía estamos a kilómetros de distancia unas de las otras y mar por medio.
Guyana, México y Cuba son nuestros puntos geográficos ¿Quién lo iba a predecir en aquel momento?
Aunque nos comunicamos a diario para saber una de la otra con un afecto que se comporta fiel , no es menos cierto que cuando pensamos en lo distante que está el abrazo se hace un nudo en la garganta.
Por mi parte me satisface saber que siguen haciendo literatura y que no se rinden mis guerreras, por ellas,por sus familias, por sus sueños.
Un gran abrazo, los quiero.

Dear friends of this #topfamily community, I'm back here like every #juevestbt that seems to be a habit.
I'd like to thank my friend @lanzjoseg for this initiative that takes us back in time.
The photo I'm showing today is from a moment that marked a starting point in my literary career, as it is the visual testimony of the presentation of my children's book, RITMOS.
This small book marked my official entry into the ÁCANA publishing house's catalog of writers, so perhaps its literary value isn't great, but on a personal level, it has been decisive.
In addition to what happened that night, which was no small feat for me, there was a beautiful presentation by the writer and director of the publishing house at the time, Evelin Queipo Balbuena.
I had the support of my writer friends and a great children's audience, despite the nighttime schedule.
But looking at the photo leads me to another reflection. Joining me, posing for the camera, are @yuraimatc and Liannet Molina Arias, two excellent poets/storytellers who are also my beloved children.
Today, two years after that photograph, we are miles apart, with the ocean in between.
Guyana, Mexico, and Cuba are our geographical landmarks. Who would have predicted it at that moment?
Although we communicate daily to check on each other with a faithful affection, it's no less true that when we think about how distant the hug is, a lump forms in our throats.
For my part, I am pleased to know that my warriors continue to write literature and that they don't give up, for themselves, for their families, for their dreams.
