Today I woke up remembering the people who started with me when I started Steemit. It's a bit nostalgic for those people who no longer make a living on this platform, or at least I don't know about them. If any of them, those from Maracaibo, are still here, please let me know. I'd like to resume the meetings we used to have to talk about the platform and its updates.
I started on the platform in July 2017 while in Colombia. I heard about how easy it was to make a living here, and the truth is, I was really afraid it wouldn't lead me anywhere. I'd been looking for something to do for a few months, and when I tried it, I liked it and continued. But I wanted to collect my first payment to verify that it was true that they paid me just for writing. I couldn't believe it.
My amazement and certainty were great when two months later I was able to collect my first Steems, and it was quite a sensation. In the photo, I'm attending my first Meetup at the Botanical Garden with the group that invited me to join Steemit.

Comencé en la plataforma en Julio de 2017 estando en Colombia, me hablaron de lo fácil que era hacer vida aquí y la verdad es que tenía mucho miedo de que fuera algo que no me llevara a nada ya que tenía unos meses buscando algo qué hacer y cuando lo intenté me gustó y continúe haciéndolo, pero quería cobrar mi primer pago para verificar que era cierto lo de que pagaban por solo escribir. No lo podía creer.
Mi asombro y mi certeza fue grande cuando dos meses después pude cobrar mis primeros Steems y fue toda una sensación. En la foto estoy asistiendo en mi primer Meet Up en el Jardín Botánico con el grupo que me invitó a unirme a Steemit.
