Es que todos merecemos un antojo cuando el cuerpo nos lo pide y más que un gusto es un pequeño premio que nos alegra y nos calma, comer helados en familia o con quienes queramos nos da esa oportunidad de crear momentos de compartir ya que en mi caso casi siempre estamos sentadas mi hermana, mi mamá y yo hablando un poco y conversando mientras disfrutamos de algún helado de yogurt ya sea de fresa, durazno o incluso uno de pie de limón que no conocía para nada y la verdad que me encantó muchísimo.
With these days full of heat and rain in a row, we have certainly been taking advantage of having that craving for ice cream at a small kiosk that a neighbor has in her house. They sell various types, but the ones we like the most, both for flavor and price, are the yogurt ones, which are very tasty and really calm down all this feeling of high temperatures.
We all deserve a craving when our body asks for it, and more than a treat, it is a small reward that makes us happy and calms us. Eating ice cream with family or with whoever we want gives us that opportunity to create moments of sharing, since in my case, my sister, my mom and I are almost always sitting, talking a little and chatting while we enjoy some yogurt ice cream, whether it is strawberry, peach or even lemon pie, which I didn't know at all and the truth is that I loved it very much.
Y no solo nosotros nos refrescamos por el calor con algo frío sino que mis gatitos siempre aprovechan para pedir un poquito y siempre suelo darles para que también disfruten de un poquito helado. Es más tengo la anécdota que hace un tiempo estaba haciendo un calor muy fuerte y mi gatito rayado estaba con mucho calor no sabía si era fiebre o el tema de temperatura pero sin pensar fui por un helado de mantecado para que tanto yo como mi otra gatita y el estuvimos comiendolo y era muy tierno verlos lamer su parte de la paleta y efectivamente estuvieron mejor y fresquitos luego.
En lo personal comer helado para mí es algo que pasa por temporadas pero con estos calores regresando de casa de mi abuela siempre mi mamá suele comprar o uno para cada una o uno grande para las tres para hacer más tranquilo y pasable todo el trayecto de regreso por lo que siempre que tengamos esa oportunidad de darnos ese gustito sin duda hay que aprovecharlo .
And not only do we cool off in the heat with something cold, but my cats always take advantage of the opportunity to ask for a little bit and I always tend to give them some so they can also enjoy a little ice cream. I even have the anecdote that a while ago it was very hot and my striped cat was very hot, I didn't know if it was a fever or the temperature issue, but without thinking I went for some ice cream so that me and my other cat and him could eat it and it was very cute to see them lick their part of the popsicle and indeed they were better and cooler afterwards.
Personally, for me, eating ice cream is something that happens seasonally, but with this heat coming back from my grandmother's house, my mother always tends to buy one for each of us or a large one for the three of us to make the whole trip back more peaceful and bearable, so whenever we have that opportunity to give ourselves that treat, we should definitely take advantage of it.
