One that particularly caught my attention is the create-a-wrestler Redemption prize. This essentially allows you to submit your concept for a wrestler along with a background story, and it will be designed and included in the game with your name.
According to Munchies, one of the WOO staff on the WOO Discord, almost legendary cards were created through this system. This means the legendary cards you encounter in the WOO game depict real-life individuals, including retired wrestlers who have collaborated with WOO.
I learned yesterday that one of my favorite legendary wrestlers in the WOO Game, the renowned Jon Willow, is a real person. He had the privilege of creating this wrestler by being the first person to buy $WOO tokens when it was introduced. He made the purchase using 1 HIVE and was granted this privilege for making a historic contribution. So, indeed, Jon Willow has a HIVE account.
I was amazed to learn that all three legendary cards I frequently use for my main events—Lexi Lawless, the Bevin brothers, and Jon Willow—all represent real-life individuals and aren't just designs for a game. I believe this aspect makes the NFTs special and adds more value than just being items.
As I delve deeper into WOO, I recognize that it's more than just an incredible play-to-earn game; it's a work of art imbued with meaning. Bookerman and his team have done an exceptional job bringing this project to life on the Hive Blockchain.
Currently, only four of this option remain in the WOO crate. This implies that we will see four more legendary cards in future updates. Who knows, one day someone might be using your character to win matches in the WOOGame.
