Good community. Time is less but you can make it, if anybody is interested.
I enjoy watching movies which definitely pass on some kind of message to us. And I really felt good watching 'Children of Heaven'. Its a 1997 release.
So beautifully the characters played by two cute children. It touched me a lot. The beautiful action by the children are just being real. Based on the story of a lost shoe, lost by the affectionate brother of his sister, and their secret chase to get back the shoes, as parents are not awaŕe of the loss of shoe - wearing the same shoe by the sister in the morning shift and by the brother in the afternoon shift at the school.
Such a materialistic movie should be watched by both parents and kids together.
The short synopsis of the story. The story reflects around a poor family, where it becomes difficult to meet the ends. How the father is working hard to meet the ends and his never ending hardships are understood by the little children and they live accordingly.
To add to the hardships, one day the brother takes the torn school shoes to the cobbler to mend it. The shoe gets lost when he makes vegetable purchase. He goes home crying and says this to his little sister who also weeps. Because its part of the uniform and she might get punished. The brother requests sister not to tell parents about this. Inreturn, he promises to give his shoes.
The pain endured during the run to exchange the shoes is the main highlight of this story. And the best part, is when the little boy tells his sister about a marathon race to be held shortly and the third prize winner gets a sneaker shoes. And so he will go for it. He doesn't need 1st and 2nd prize but the third one.
A must watch movie. The photos above are snap shots from youtube. The story revolves around the unity and trust of two siblings who get along well, with an understanding of all ups and downs.
Thankyou for your lovely visit and Happy Weekend to all lovely hiveans.
