While we're preparing the small foods we're planning to get during Mom's birthday, she mentioned that she won't get a cake this time because the barangay officials might bring free cake again at home. Just like last year, for Mommy F and Mommy D. They both received a cute cake from the barangay officials, and I think they're making it a thing now for the senior citizens. I actually love that they do that. Y'all know how a cake can make a birthday celebration more special right.? They usually deliver the cake at night, I don't know why, though.
Anyways, because we had a lot of food that day, we forgot about the cake, and we didn't really think much about it. I mean, we had pancit, pizza, pancakes, and ice cream that day. There's a lot that I couldn't even eat dinner anymore. Lol. So, when we heard someone calling outside later that night, we were a bit startled because we weren't expecting anyone. We even thought it is maybe the neighbor that they want and not us. But still, I checked just to make sure, and wooooosh! They're looking for Flor, that's Mommy F, and the man was holding a box in his right hand. └( ＾ω＾)」
So I call Mom because she's still inside the store. She's a bit shy to go outside, but we forced her. Lol. And there it is, they even include a small birthday candle in it. It's just so cool. It's not that big, but it can make 5 people full with it.
Here's the pretty cake. It looks pretty much the same as what we received before. It still tastes good, and you know, even though we're already full, we can't help but have a taste of it. Lol. Because why not? And we're about to sleep already during that time (≧▽≦). It just looks so good we can't resist it. I mean, good cake should be eaten right away right? Lol ᕦ⊙෴⊙ᕤ
I mean, just look at that. Look at the chiffon cake, it looks so fluffy and yummy. UwU. I can already imagine how soft the cake is. Another thing is, it doesn't have much icing on it. Though it's kind of sweet, still, it tastes good that we enjoyed it and duhhhh, it's FREE ＼(^o^)／
And look how happy Mommy F is for her cake. Seriously, cake can really make anyone happy ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ. I'm glad that this made Mom really happy. They make her birthday extra special and sweet.
It's Mama's birthday too, so I took a photo of Mama holding a sliced og cake (✿^‿^). I gave her a big slice of it. She was actually already on her bed that time watching YouTube when I called her to give the cake.
And yeah, it's not just one but two people, that's the number of people who made this cake really really happy. Well, if you will include us, then there are four of us who are happy. Heh ┏(＾0＾)┛
