I am new to a lot of this and still learning but I rarely follow influencers and even more rarely place reliance on their word, unless I have done my own due diligence on the token or asset they are promoting. I am happy to listen to anyone but as you point out you need to have your wits about you and employ common sense. There are far too many scammers out there.
