Hi guys, so today I made a crochet bag for my little niece and I'm glad she loved it. I have so many people waiting patiently for me to crochet an item for them hahaha.
It's the holiday over here, and my 10-year-old niece decided to start up her very own business 😂, yup! It was funny to me because I know how much she loves eating sweets, and I just had the feeling that she would be the one to finish up all the investments, hahaha.
Some weeks ago, I went to my sister's place only to find her on her mini table selling candies and other tiny snacks. I asked her about how she got the idea and she said she just wanted to make good use of her holiday and save some money to buy herself a doll. Girls will always be girls 😂.
Glad she's taking the business seriously because it's growing and I love how smart and dedicated she is towards her business. You wouldn't believe how much she has made over these past few weeks 😩; I think she might be richer than me right now, lol.
I saw her using a worn-out purse her mom gave her to store her money, and I thought this would be a nice gift idea for her to store her money while attending to customers. It's cute, and she can carry it along with her, too. She loves pink that's why I went with this colour
Here's how I made this cute little bag for my lovely niece. I'm yet to give her the bag, I'll be going over to my sister's place tomorrow. I can't wait to see her reaction lol. She has always wanted me to make a bag for her. This bag took about 3days to finish hahaha, don't judge me hahaha. I was just too lazy and busy but I'm glad I was able to finish it up today.
I know it's a tiny bag and can be done under 2hrs but trust me, one can be so lazy sometimes that making a granny square can take a whole week 😂😂.
Here's how I made the Bag
Make 40 chains, (you can increase the number depending on the size you want)
Step 1
Skip 2ch, and DC until you get to the last chain. On the last chain, make 3DC. Turn your work and make a DC on the other side. SL St on the last loop.
Step 2
Chain 2, DC1, CH1, skip 1. Repeat this pattern until you go around the bag, SL St.
Chain 2 again and repeat the same pattern above until you've gotten your desired length.
Once you're done, cut your yarn and secure it tightly.
Step 3
Here's how I made the hand.
Make a slip knot and attach your yarn to your bag ( use a marker to mark the part you want the hand to start and end)
Chain 4, DC, CH1. Repeat this pattern until you get your desired length. Sew in tightly and you're done.
I added a little flower I made some days ago to it and I think it looks very cute.
So I did a little photoshoot which came out very nice ☺️. What do you think about the shoot😂😂?
Thanks for stopping by, see you next time🤗❤️
