I just thought of my 2nd DIY entry, and in my imagination, I had this inspiration of making a waterfall. And it was so real in my imagination chai. So I moved around, gathered stones,
then also looked for coconut shells and palm leaves. Then I uprooted some grasses around. I picked up a bucket cover, a paint rubber cover. I picked it up, then I set my stones one after the other.
I placed my coconut shells around it and also fixed the palm leaf around it. The coconut peel that looks like a sponge, I also placed it around. And that was all. The last thing I did was to add water to it, like #water was coming from it downward.
And lo and behold, I snapped it to see the view, but what I saw just kept me laughing. I kept laughing and laughing. I had to share it with my #friends. Each time I shared it, there was always a reaction and laughter from them too.
At a point, I was not happy because what I intended making was not the outcome I got. But I learned from this creative work that whatsoever comes our way in life, whatsoever our mistakes might be, we should always own up. It does not mean that we have failed totally and should just give up.
Just have an open mind to think out of the box. Do not give up o, learn from your #mistakes and keep the journey on. I was discouraged and never intended posting it, but I just felt in my heart that I could bring out the beauty from my result, even if it was not what I intended. That speaks more about #creativity.
So to me it gives a traditional shrine vibe😄.. my water fall turn out to become a #traditional shrine vibe..
