Greetings fellow splinterlands and art lovers. This week I decided to continue with my little collection of splinterlands dwarfs. The first one I made was the Grumpy Dwarf.

Saludos amigos amantes de splinterlands y el arte. Esta semana decidí continuar con mi pequeña colección de enanos de splinterlands. El primero que hice fue el de Grumpy Dwarf.

Step by step
To make this sculpture I used the usual materials; wire, plasticine, molding tools and tweezers.
The first thing I did was the skeleton of the character. I wanted to keep that shape or pose that the character has on the card, making it a little different, but keeping the original shape.
Paso a paso
Para hacer esta escultura usé los materiales de siempre; Alambre, plastilina, herramientas de moldeado y pinzas.
Lo primero que hice fue el esqueleto del personaje. Quería conservar esa forma o pose que tiene el personaje en la carta, haciéndolo un poco distinto, pero conservando la forma original.
With the skeleton ready, it was time to cover the skeleton with the material to be used, in this case gray and green plasticine.
I used the gray plasticine for the boots, trying to make them large, as the feet of these characters usually are. Then I covered the legs with the green plasticine.
Con el esqueleto listo, llegó la hora de cubrir el esqueleto con el material a utilizar, en este caso plastilina gris y verde.
La plastilina gris la utilicé para las botas, tratando de hacerlas de gran tamaño, como suelen ser los pies de estos personaje. Luego cubrí las piernas con la plastilina verde.

For the torso I used a pink plasticine and darkened it a little, to make it a little more opaque.
With the color ready, I made an egg shape and with this shape I covered the whole torso of the skeleton.
Para el torso usé una plastilina rosada y la oscurecí un poco, para que fuese de un tono un poco más opaco.
Con el color listo, hice una forma parecida a la de un huevo y con esta forma cubrí todo el torso del esqueleto.
After covering the torso with that pink plasticine, I stretched another piece to make a thin strip that would be the rest of the character's costume, as you can see in the image below:
Después de cubrir el torso con esa plastilina rosada, estiré otro pedazo para hacer una delgada tira que sería como el resto del traje del personaje, tal como pueden ver en la imagen de abajo:

In this image below I dare to say that it looks like an Orc's wife, with that green skin, but no, that's not the skin, it's the color of the character's clothes.
Although she looks like an orc, that's how I made the arms, with thick pieces of green plasticine.
En esta imagen de abajo me atrevo a decir que parece la mujer de un Orco, con esa piel de color verde, pero no, esa no es la piel, es el color de la ropa del personaje.
Aunque parezca un orco, así hice los brazos, con gruesos pedazos de plastilina verde.
Time to make the hands, for these I made the shape of a palm and then cut the fingers with my cutter, so I managed to create this shape as close to hands as possible.
Hora de hacer las manos, para estas hice la forma de una palma y luego corté los dedos con mi cutter, así logré crear esta forma lo más parecido a unas manos.

I continued with the clothes, so I cut another piece of pink plasticine and made a rectangle for the front.
All around the clothes I applied thin yellow lines.
Continué con la ropa, así que corté otro pedazo de plastilina rosa e hice un rectángulo para la parte frontal.
En todo el alrededor de las prendas apliqué delgadas líneas amarillas.
The next thing was to make the face. Although I had a hard time doing it, I tried to give him those characteristic features that the character of the letter keeps.
Below you can see in 3 pictures how I started to make the face, until I placed it on top of the body I had already made. I also put the helmet in its place, a helmet made with the pink plasticine.
Lo siguiente fue hacer el rostro. Aunque me costó bastante hacerlo, traté de darle esos rasgos tan característicos que mantiene el personaje de la carta.
A continuación pueden ver en 3 fotografías cómo comencé a hacer el rostro, hasta que lo coloqué encima del cuerpo que ya le había hecho. También le coloqué el casco en su lugar, un casco hecho con la plastilina de color rosa.

Finally I added the shoulder pads and the last details in the beard and the black belt that I had not done.
Por último agregué las hombreras y los últimos detalles en la barba y el cinturón negro que no le había hecho.
