I had been wanting to make a Christmas-themed potholder that I saw on the internet for days, but I didn't have any thread in the colors I needed.

I started by making 30 chains with the red yarn. I continued crocheting a single crochet over each chain stitch, using the first one as the first single crochet of each round, meaning each round had 29 single crochets.
