I choose who I upvote based on personal criteria therefore I downvote using the same criteria.

People join Hive because of upvotes. They may leave because of downvotes.

Upvotes simply add reward. Downvotes take it away.

Hive is based upon proof of stake. High stakes mean big upvotes and big downvotes. Low stake means low upvotes and low down votes.

It's all balance and no one is censored, and no one is owed anything for posting here.

I cant see the need to change anything.
