Ahora saltamos de tigres a leones, quienes logran conseguir su cuarta victoria en esta temporada (4 victorias – 2 derrotas) tras ganarle a los Tiburones de la Guaria 5 x 3 en un juego donde leones mantuvo por 7 inning completos a los Tiburones sin carreras, hasta ese momento fue un picheo elegante y dominante ya que en el 8vo inning el relevista Moises Gomez permitió 3 carreras, pero esto no efecto en la victoria de Leones del Caracas.
El abridor por parte de los leones fue Erick Leal, quien lanzo 3.2 entradas permitiendo 3 imparables, 1 boleto y 4 despachos por la vía del ponche, para luego entregarle la responsabilidad a José Torres quien lanzo los siguiente 3 inning en blanco para conseguir su primera vitoria individual. A quien no le fue tan bien como abridor fue a Luis Arejula (abridor de tiburones) quien en sus 4 entradas de actuación en el montículo permitió 8 hit y 4 carreras.
En cuanto al bateo fue crucial la actuación de Oswaldo Arcia quien se fue de 5-3 impulsando 3 de las cinco carreras propinadas por los caraquistas. Por otro lado, Norwith Gudiño consigue su 2 salvado como cerrador en esta temporada, después de que su primero fuese el 18 de este mismo mes ante Caribes de Anzoátegui en un partido muy cerrado que culmino 3x2 a favor de los melenudos.

Voy a desatacar un poco las dos ultimas jornadas de Caribes de Anzoátegui, porque considero que lo que ha hecho con el bate es una grosería, pero no el mala forma, sino por la impresionante hazaña de bateo, ya que en la jornada del 23 del Octubre le propino 19 carreras a las Águilas del Zulia, para ganarle 19 x 4 con una espectacular actuación en la caja de bateo por parte de Balbino Fuenmayor que se fue de 5-5 impulsando 5 carreras, incluyendo un doble y 2 carreras anotadas.
Después en la jornada de ayer 24 de Octubre no le basto con eso y vuelve y le mete 15 carreras mas para ganar 15 x 7, una locura, estamos hablando de 34 carreras en solo dos juegos. En este ultimo Jesús Sucre fue el mas destacado en cuanto a carreras impulsadas.
Es lo que he venido diciendo a lo largo del comienzo de la temporada, puede que el picheo comienza fallando, pero en mejor respaldo de un lanzador son sus bateadores, eso no se discute, esa sincronía es una de las claves de sobrellevar un partido fluido, solido y con confianza entre el equipo. Estos dos últimos partidos para Caribes de Anzoátegui fueron importantes para conseguir el equilibrio (victoria vs derrota) para quedar 4-4 y estar actualmente en el 3er puesto de la table de clasificación.

These last two games for Caribes de Anzoátegui were important in achieving a balance (win vs. loss) to reach 4-4 and currently occupy third place in the standings.
