I still don't know how to act in front of my niece. Growing up without kids in my surroundings, I think, is the reason why I am so awkward even in front of kids. Like, how should I talk to them, or how do I comfort them if something upsets them, or, like, how do I treat them? Seriously, I don't know why I'm making this a big deal. Lol. I don't know if I'm the only one who reacts this way, but, really, it is so new to me, and as someone who hates human interaction, this is a MAJOR, MAJOR PROBLEM. Yes, even with kids involved. ( ꈍᴗꈍ)
When I heard my brother's invitation for his kids family day event at school, I was a bit hesitant, and I am already planning as to how I should face and bond with my niece. The only solution I could come up with was to bribe them with food, which I think no kids can ever resist. I thought, if I treat them with food, they will behave and just sit in one corner. I also thought being with kids with 200% energy would be too much for me, so I really wish they would just behave and enjoy the day without jumping or running around much. ᕙ (° ~ ° ~)

The first one to arrive is Rhacky, my brother's youngest. He is with his uncle that time, her sister Piaya and Queeny are still at home. I actually contacted my brother about Rhacky because no one actually knows that Rhacky left home with his Uncle. And Mama spotted him outside near the gate, like a lost puppy. We asked some kids who left Rhacky there, but he said he just came with them. Like, WTH, I'm kind of annoyed because it's like they are neglecting the kid. With all the kids missing nowadays in some places, this is really alarming.

Anyways, here's Piaya, she arrives at school with a not so good aura, lol. It's like she's sulking about something. I noticed it, that's why I asked her if she wants to eat snacks. She answered yes immediately, it is as if she's waiting for that question. Lol.

Later that day, the middle child, Queeny, with the youngest, Rhacky, arrived with their grandmother. Their granny brought "Palabok" to share with Piaya's classmate. I thought I would be overwhelmed with the kids presence, but I'm gwenchana, haha. Queeny is super hyper, though, jumping around, even from high places. It made me anxious watching her, and that's when I realized, so that's what my mom felt when I did it as a kid, and mine's even higher. Lol.

So here's another treat from their cute Tita, haha. I saw Queeny looking at this particular spot, and when I checked, it's a halo-halo, and I think Queeny wants it but is maybe just too shy to ask. So I just asked her, and she nodded excitedly. Look how happy and patiently waiting they are for it.

I also help them mix their Halo-Halo because they don't know how to do it. Lol. And it is really satisfying to watch them this happy. I'm glad I brought little cash with me treating them with food is so worth it because they appreciate it, and I can see how much they are enjoying it. I can't talk to them, and I don't really know how to start a conversation with them, but I think if there's food on the table, talking, and then the bonding moment will naturally just follow.
