Hello, beer lovers! 🍻
How are you? The cold is getting worse here; everything is frozen every morning, but we are still waiting for snow, maybe next week, maybe not.
It's winter in the crypto world, too, so it's best to put everything aside for a while and focus on other things.
Especially with beer, we'll get through this bear easier.

I skipped last #beersaturday. I had a really crazy week, but today everything has calmed down, so I will treat myself to two beers, one Austrian and one Italian, and I will happily share the experience with you, as usual.
First, the one with less alcohol :)
Le Vie del Luppolo IPA

Brewed by Birra Flea, Gualdo Tadino, Umbria, Italy.
Bottle, 0.33 l, alcohol 5.9% ABV, IBU 40. IPA beer.
What do the Master Brewers say?
Unfiltered beer with bottle refermentation, which preserves the natural herbal and floral aromas of hops. Refreshing and balanced, non-aggressive, suitable for a broader range of beer drinkers.
🍺

The beer is cloudy, light, and golden yellow; the foam is solid and creamy, settling quickly. It has no special smell. The sip goes smoothly down the throat; in the mouth, I first feel a slight bitterness, shy aromas of herbs, and a taste of bread.
In the aftertaste, a slight bitterness develops and lasts for a while.

Drinkable and creamy beer, but nothing special. If it didn't say IPA on the label, I wouldn't know it was brewed this way. Well, maybe because of the more pronounced bitterness in the aftertaste. The price is acceptable, €1.80. I bought it in Italy at the Famiglia store.
It won't ever be in my fridge again unless I get it as a gift. That's all.

Weißbier Bock

Brewed by Brauerei Ried, Ried im Innkreis, Austria.
Bottle, 0.33 l, alcohol 6.5 ABV, IBU 18. Hybrid style, Weizenbock.
What do the Master Brewers say?
Wheat and barley malt give Rieder Weißbierbock its distinctive character. Its natural, consistent yeast haze and the white, fine-pored head define the appearance of this top-fermented beer specialty. Light citrus fruit notes complement its ripe banana aroma. Rieder Weißbierbock has a delicate effervescence, leaving the palate tingling with freshness. Lively and fruity, this Weißbierbock offers a full-bodied, malty drinking experience. The finish is pleasantly smooth, warming, and banana-like.
🍺

The beer is a cloudy orange color, and the foam is solid and settles quickly. It smells like bananas. The sip goes smoothly down the throat, in the mouth, I feel the sweetness of malt and alcohol, and the taste of bananas that continues in the aftertaste.

The beer is drinkable and juicy; the banana flavor dominates, but, as the master brewers say, I did not detect any citrus. I have tasted such beers before, but they do not suit me; the alcohol's sweetness is too pronounced. It's not available in stores here, except occasionally at Hofer and Lidl in the Kalea BeerBox selection, along with others. Suitable primarily for lovers of the style.

And what am I listening to when writing this and tasting beer? Nothing from Friday's #newtunes because I didn't write it this week, and I'm also writing this beer tasting late. Namely, yesterday, I was at three live shows. I enjoyed the Greek band Godsleep's performance the most. I'll post the recording when it comes, hopefully this year :)
