Two of 3bir for #BeerSaturday

in BEER18 days ago

After visiting Novi Sad, when I chose to drink the Red IPA AKIRA beer in a restaurant, which I wrote about here I knew that I would look for more products of the 3bir brewery.

The 3bir brewery, along with the production plant, also has a taproom where you can taste and enjoy delicious dishes as well as beers.

The next time I was passing through Novi Sad, I looked for this brewery, but since I wasn't allowed to drink beer, because I was in a car and the journey was waiting for me, I bought two randomly selected bottles at the 3bir brewery.

3bir Brewery produces a large number of beers, on the website it is written that they produce 90 different beers, although I have not seen such a large number of different beers on offer on their taps and in the fridge.

Dunk wit, a beer that has 4.5% alcohol, 10.4% esters, and consists of water, barley malt, wheat malt, hops, brewer's yeast, orange and coriander.

That orange and coriander distinguish this beer from other wheat beers.

The smell when pouring is refreshing, fruity, it has a thick foam, but already at the first sip, the flavors of orange and coriander give this beer a sour taste, so it seemed to me like I was drinking some citrus juice, rather than a wheat beer.

Stolen Pine Tree was the second beer I had a little later. It is a DDH IPA beer, with 6.7% alcohol and 26.32% externact. Unfiltered, unpasteurized, strong, light beer, which contains water, barley malt, hops and brewer's yeast.

I read on some website that this beer was included in the American magazine Craft Beer&bravery on the list of the best beers in 2023.

Enhanced with hops, with distinct fragrant citrus notes and a refreshing taste, the enhanced alcohol of this beer is concealed. Thick, dense foam retains the aroma of this well-praised beer for a long time.

One after the other, beer with increased alcohol, asked for some snack, when I took some crackers and gorgonzola cheese.

A great combination of snacks and beer.
All that remains for me is to go to the 3bir brewery by bus next time, so that I can try the other recommended beers directly from the taps.

Oh, you're starting with beer pairing, what a beerology progress! :)

Btw is 3bir some wordplay? I guess it would be pronounced like "tribir", right?

Glad to see my progress in the world of beer 🙂

I didn't research if the idea was to be a "tribir". But it seems to me that it is actually a combination of the number 3, which in the Cyrillic alphabet looks the same as the letter Z, and in translation Zbir means "Sum". Because in addition to good beer, they also serve great food, which I will try next time.

Oh, I see :)
