Hello, everyone!
Tonight, I’m joining the #BeerSaturday Challenge, and though my story is not only about beer, it’s also about something we Filipinos enjoy just as much, good food and a few drinks shared with family. 🥂

Today is a special non-working holiday in our place, celebrating a Founding Anniversary in our Municipality. So, we decided to make the most of the night. No work, no stress, just pure bonding time with family. My husband and I, together with my brother-in-law and siter in law, went out for dinner and a little celebration in the house of our brother-in-law.

Before anything else, we prepared a simple hearty dinner. We grilled some catfish, cooked a warm native chicken tinola and made a refreshing on the side. The aroma of the grilled fish filled around to table made everything feel extra special.

After dinner, it was time to relax and enjoy our drinks. The boys had their classic favorite of all time – Tanduay, while we girls drink the GSM blue. Almost every store here sells Tanduay since is one of the best-selling drinks in our area. A staple for every Filipino gathering!

As always there’s something about drinking together that brings people closer. The boys enjoyed their Tanduay moments, laughing loudly and sharing stories, while we ladies mixed our GSM Blue with tang Pineapple juice, a sweet, fruity combo that made our Storytime even livelier.

Thank you for reading my story and cheers to more fun nights with family and friends!

I’d like to mention @krissymayol for this week’s #BeerSaturday Challenge!
