Our kittens were part of a surprise pregnancy a friends cat had, after she slipped out the house at a bad time.
Born Autumn of 2022, we took them home as we moved into our new house in November that year.
Here they are just after:

On the left is Beth Albia. She was the runt of the litter and there were worries about her surviving. My wife named her Albia for a character by Lindsey Davis who survived despite the odds, I added the Beth (though Lizza refuses to use it).

Fingers McGraw is on the left, and is named after our eldest daughter. She got the nickname from being into everything she shouldnt be, much like the character Feathers McGraw in the Ardman Aminations film [The Wrong Trousers].(https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0108598/).

Kittens do not stay tiny for long though, and here they both are recently:

and Fingers McGraw climbing all over me while being nosy about things on the shelf behind.
