Greetings, dear hives and friends of this beautiful community! I hope you are having a great day. We are already approaching the weekend, but for me the work does not stop, because very soon the seasonal visitors will begin to arrive on the island, to spend Easter. The season promises to be very busy and everything must be in optimal conditions. For this reason, I expect intense work days in the coming days.
However, today will be easier, as I only have to check the water quality and deliver some invoices.
This morning the weather dawned somewhat cloudy, with shades of gray dominating much of the sky. This type of weather is not my favorite, but I must admit that it has its own special charm, and always the natural and urban landscapes manage to captivate me with their beauty. I took the opportunity to take some pictures, although there were not many, because the sunlight was shy and hidden behind the clouds.

Estamos ya acercándonos al fin de semana, pero para mí el trabajo no se detiene, pues muy pronto comenzarán a llegar a la Isla los temporadistas, a pasar la semana santa. La temporada promete ser muy movida y todo debe estar en óptimas condiciones. Por esta razón, me esperan jornadas de trabajo intensas en los próximos días.
Sin embargo, el día de hoy será más sencillo, ya que solo tengo que revisar la calidad del agua y entregar algunas facturas.
Esta mañana el clima amaneció algo nublado, con tonalidades grises que dominaban gran parte del cielo. Este tipo de clima no es lo que más me gusta, pero debo admitir que tiene su propio encanto especial, y siempre los paisajes naturales y urbanos logran cautivarme con su belleza. Aproveché para tomar algunas fotografías, aunque no fueron muchas, porque la luz del sol estaba tímida y escondida detrás de las nubes.
I started my day at the Sunsol chain where I had to do the corresponding check and deliver the invoices.
Inicié mi día por la cadena Sunsol donde debía hacer el chequeo correspondiente y realizar la entrega de las facturas.
Everything went efficiently, and when I finished I met my husband, who was already waiting for me to continue with our daily tasks. We had to buy feed for our chickens and also replace a tape measure that was damaged last week. After visiting several places, we finally managed to find it, which left us quite satisfied.
Todo salió de manera eficiente, y al terminar me encontré con mi esposo, quien ya estaba esperándome para continuar con nuestras tareas diarias. Teníamos pendiente comprar alimento para nuestros pollos y también reemplazar una cinta métrica que se nos dañó la semana pasada. Después de visitar varios lugares, finalmente logramos encontrarla, lo que nos dejó bastante satisfechos.
Afterwards, we returned home to get some rest after our errands. The afternoon was already late, and as the day remained gray, the last rays of the sun quickly disappeared into the dense clouds. I love to observe how nature is constantly changing, to see how it gives us unique moments, even when the sky is less colorful. I always try to find a way to enjoy it and capture those little details that connect us with our surroundings. Like today these gray landscapes is that they have their charm.
Posteriormente, volvimos a casa para descansar un poco después de nuestras diligencias. La tarde ya estaba avanzada, y como el día permanecía gris, los últimos rayos del sol desaparecían rápidamente entre las densas nubes. Me encanta observar cómo la naturaleza cambia constantemente, ver cómo nos regala momentos únicos, incluso cuando el cielo se muestra menos colorido. Siempre trato de encontrar la manera de disfrutarlo y de captar esos pequeños detalles que nos conectan con nuestro entorno. Cómo hoy estos paisajes gris es que tienen su encanto.
For me, every day, no matter how simple it may seem, has something that enriches us, teaches us or simply allows us to appreciate the little everyday things.
