Greetings dear friends! At home, the masonry work continued on the other plot. As construction is not exactly my specialty and I only have the theory, my active participation was limited. Nevertheless, I dedicated myself to support in aspects that I consider equally important, such as ensuring hydration and food, as they were working hard. This, although it may seem a small gesture, was very much appreciated by both my husband and his friend, who were completely dedicated to the physical work.
¡Mis saludos queridos amigos! en casa continuaron los trabajos de albañilería en la otra parcela. Como la construcción no es precisamente mi especialidad y solo tengo la teoría, mi participación activa fue limitada. A pesar de ello, me dediqué a apoyar en aspectos que considero igual de importantes, como garantizar la hidratación y la alimentación, ya que ellos trabajaban arduamente. Esto, aunque parezca un pequeño gesto, fue muy apreciado tanto por mi esposo como por su amigo, quienes se encontraban completamente entregados al trabajo físico.
The day was especially exhausting, as the task of placing the timbers and casting the columns, key steps in our construction goal, was carried out. Although building today can be very challenging due to economic hardships, we pushed forward with enthusiasm and perseverance, advancing little by little in this project that we have set out to achieve. Every little bit of progress fills us with satisfaction and encourages us to keep moving forward.
El día fue especialmente agotador, ya que se llevó a cabo la tarea de colocar las maderas y fundir las columnas, pasos clave en nuestra meta de construcción. Aunque construir hoy en día puede ser muy desafiante debido a las dificultades económicas, seguimos adelante con entusiasmo y perseverancia, avanzando poco a poco en este proyecto que nos hemos propuesto alcanzar. Cada pequeño progreso nos llena de satisfacción y nos anima a seguir adelante.
At the end of the day, we set off for my husband's friend's house to take him back, as he lives quite far from our location. During the drive, I decided to take the wheel myself so that my husband could get some rest after such an arduous effort. His friend was also exhausted, but they both showed signs of satisfaction with the progress made on the project.
Al concluir la jornada, emprendimos el camino hacia la casa del amigo de mi esposo para llevarlo de regreso, ya que vive bastante lejos de nuestra ubicación. Durante el trayecto, decidí tomar el volante yo misma para que mi esposo pudiera descansar un poco después de tan arduo esfuerzo. Su amigo también estaba agotado, pero ambos mostraban señales de satisfacción por los avances logrados en el proyecto.
On the way back, it was already late afternoon and the landscapes began to dress up with a special light. It was a wonderful spectacle; seeing the tonality of the sky in both urban and natural landscapes was simply fascinating. As I am one of those people who enjoy keeping special memories, I tried to capture those moments with some photographs to share with you. It's amazing how the colors and shapes change at the end of the day, offering a different and enchanting perspective.
En el retorno, ya caía la tarde y los paisajes comenzaban a vestirse con una luz especial. Fue un espectáculo maravilloso; ver la tonalidad del cielo tanto en los paisajes urbanos como en los naturales fue simplemente fascinante. Como soy de las personas que disfrutan guardar recuerdos especiales, traté de capturar esos momentos con algunas fotografías para compartir con ustedes. Es increíble cómo los colores y las formas cambian al final del día, ofreciendo una perspectiva distinta y encantadora.
Continuing on our way, we decided to pass by Ratán, because there they make some delicious ice cream bars. There we enjoyed a small toast and enjoyed an ice cream bar as a symbol of our achievement at the end of another stage of the wall of the other plot. For us, this gesture has a lot of meaning. Although many people choose to toast with beverages, we prefer ice cream, especially when we do not have a red wine, which is our favorite on special occasions. Toasting, regardless of the medium, represents for us a moment of recognition and gratitude for what has been achieved.
Siguiendo nuestro camino, decidimos pasar por Ratán, porque hay hacen unas barquillas muy deliciosas. Allí nos permitimos una pequeña brindis disfrutamos de una barquilla de helado como símbolo de nuestro logro al concluir otra etapa de la tapia de la otra parcela. Para nosotros, este gesto tiene mucho significado. Aunque muchas personas optan por brindar con bebidas, nosotros preferimos el helado, sobre todo cuando no tenemos a la mano un vino tinto, que es nuestro favorito en ocasiones especiales. Brindar, independientemente del medio, representa para nosotros un momento de reconocimiento y agradecimiento por lo alcanzado.
After our little celebration, we returned home full of joy and with a light heart. The feeling of having gone one step further in the construction filled us with motivation and optimism. It was a special day, not only because of the physicality of the work done, but also because of the shared moments, the small celebrations and the enjoyment of simple things, like a landscape or a dessert.
This is how our weekend began, dear friends. I will continue to share with you our small advances, which are the reflection of our effort and perseverance.

Después de nuestro pequeño festejo, regresamos a casa llenos de alegría y con el corazón ligero. La sensación de haber avanzado un paso más en la construcción nos llenó de motivación y optimismo. Fue un día especial, no solo por lo físico del trabajo realizado, sino también por los momentos compartidos, las pequeñas celebraciones y el disfrute de cosas simples, como un paisaje o un postre.
