¡Hola amigos!! ¡Un poco tarde lo see!! jajaja, pero no podía no compartirles mi experiencia de este día, pues fue uno muy bonito, pues no tenía planificado visitar el Buque por falta de tiempo, más, una mañana que tenía libre Flor me dice: Qué tal si vamos a visitar el Buque???, ya que ella había ido y no se había podido montar, yo el año pasado lo visité, pero tampoco pude entrar en él, así que desde muy temprano nos pusimos de acuerdo para visitarlo a horas de la tarde, puesto que la intención era ir cuando no hubiera muchas personas, digo, a eso de la 1:00 u 2:00pm quizás no había tanta gente, bueno, eso pensábamos jajaja, así que nos aventuramos bien abrigadas, con sombreros, mucha agua y protector solar.
Nuestra parada fue justo en frente de la laguna, así que caminamos siguiendo la carretera hasta dar con Playa Valdez, donde se encuentra el puerto y desde que vas caminando puedes visualizar el Buque, como podrán observar después de esta lectura el día estaba precioso, supercaluroso pero realmente estaba hermoso!!.

Hi friends!! A little late, I see!! Hahaha, but I couldn't help but share my experience today, as it was a very nice one. I hadn't planned to visit the Ship due to lack of time. However, one morning when Flor was free, she said to me: "How about we go visit the Ship???" She had already been there and hadn't been able to ride it. I visited it last year, but I couldn't get on board either. So, we agreed very early on to visit it in the afternoon, since the intention was to go when there weren't many people around. I mean, around 1:00 or 2:00 pm, maybe there wouldn't be so many people. Well, that's what we thought, hahaha. So we ventured out, well-bundled up, with hats, lots of water, and sunscreen.
Our stop was right in front of the lagoon, so we walked along the road until we found Playa Valdez, where the port is located and from the moment you walk you can see the ship. As you can see after reading this, the day was beautiful, super hot but it was really beautiful!!
El Buque Escuela Simón Bolívar llega todos los años para celebrar el cumpleaños de la Virgen del Valle, donde abre sus puertas para que todos podamos conocer más de él, con horarios específicos claro esta, es una escuela de formación naval y una reliquia del país que viaja por muchos mares llevando nuestra cultura e identidad venezolana al extranjero, incluso es conocido como “El embajador sin fronteras”, lo cual me parece algo fascinante.
Quería saber más de él y su historia, por lo que me emocionaba el hecho de ir a conocerlo más a detalle, más, no contábamos con que justo ese día sus puertas abrieron muy tarde, por lo que había una cola INMENSA que debíamos hacer para entrar, así que nos colocamos en la fila y esperamos, esperamos y esperamos, luego de un buen rato bajo el sol a todo dar, decidimos que no era el momento para conocerlo, pues a pesar de estar abrigadas, el sol estaba demasiado fuerte, tanto que era insoportable.
Así que nos tocó recorrer a los alrededores, tomar algunas fotos y regresarnos con la ilusión de que el próximo año si podamos conocerlo mejor!.
ENGLISHThe Simón Bolívar Training Ship arrives every year to celebrate the birthday of the Virgin of the Valley, where it opens its doors so we can all learn more about it, with specific schedules, of course. It's a naval training school and a relic of the country that travels many seas bringing our Venezuelan culture and identity abroad. It's even known as "The Ambassador Without Borders," which I find fascinating.
I wanted to know more about it and its history, so I was excited to get to know it in more detail. However, we didn't count on the fact that its doors opened very late that very day, so there was a HUGE line to get in. So we got in line and waited, waited, and waited. After a long time under the blazing sun, we decided it wasn't the time to get to know it, because despite being bundled up, the sun was too strong, so much so that it was unbearable.
So we had to explore the surrounding area, take some photos, and return with the hope of getting to know it better next year!
