This time I was walking along Niquitao Street, where the School of Arts of Cumaná is located, a place where very talented young people are trained. It was late afternoon and the breeze was blowing refreshingly, although the sun's rays were rising strongly in the sky.
Everything was quiet, there were few people on the street, I enjoyed the scenery as I walked. I also took a picture of the entrance of the Liceo "Antonio José de Sucre", an institution that has been remodeled several times. Today its façade is painted in two colors: beige and terracotta, an elegant combination that gives life to this educational establishment.
Next to it is one of the representative sanctuaries of the city; the Cathedral Church, which looks imposing with its neoclassical and colonial style. It is a place where many parishioners congregate to consolidate their Catholic faith. Since its foundation, this architectural landmark has been the scene of different historical and cultural events of great importance.
Continuing my tour, I arrived at Cantaura street, there I stopped for a while to contemplate a large grape tree, whose fruit was watered on the ground. This tree is very common in the coastal area, but sometimes we can see them in public spaces due to its resistance to the weather, this one in particular is part of the green areas of the high school and its branches protrude above the fence.
I enjoy walking around the city and looking at it with curious eyes, ready to unveil its nooks and crannies and show a new perspective of what is often overlooked as everyday life. After all, walking is a relaxing and healthy activity.

Continuando mi recorrido, llegué a la calle Cantaura, allí me detuve un rato a contemplar un gran uvero, cuyo fruto estaba regado en el piso. Este árbol es muy frecuente en la zona costera, pero en algunas ocasiones podemos verlos en espacios públicos debido a su resistencia ante la interperie, este en particular forma parte de las áreas verdes del liceo y sus ramas sobresalen por encima del cercado.
Disfruto recorrer la ciudad y mirarla con ojos curiosos, dispuestos a develar sus recovecos y mostrar una nueva perspectiva de lo que muchas veces se pasa por alto al considerarlo cotidiano. Después de todo, caminar es una actividad relajante y saludable.
