For as long as I can remember, the sunsets in Cumana have been an impressive visual spectacle. The blue sky envelops magnificent colors, reddish tones multiply with the last rays of the sun, giving amazing images to those who stop to contemplate.
I was walking through the Ayacucho square and I captured these beautiful photographs of the landscape, I am one of those people who is captivated by nature, looking at the sky causes me an immense sense of peace, it is as if the world stopped for a moment for my eyes to appreciate the immensity of natural beauty. Those small details that steal glances and sighs and make us feel grateful with life.
I found this view sublime because you can also see the tallest pillars of the Cathedral of the city, it was like appreciating a live painting. The construction that appears in the foreground is relatively new, before there were some old adobe houses that began to collapse defeated by time. That is why the municipal government made the decision to demolish and rebuild the wall, preserving a certain colonial air.
Cumana is a land full of charms, here you can find beautiful places, worthy of admiration. I enjoy walking its streets, resting in a square under the shade of a leafy tree and feeling the breeze and the freshness that come accompanied by the gentle current of the Manzanares River. The feeling of Cumanés is lived and breathed in the people who walk through the Ayacucho Park and leave a bit of their essence in each step. Generations have passed and keep traditions alive, the elderly play dominoes and chess, while young people go skating and children laugh and play on the swings.
I love walking at this time of the day, as night is approaching and you can also see couples in love enjoying ice cream, but also entire families, as if the park were the ideal setting for the transition of life. Above us, the sky observes us and gives us each sunset as if it were a postcard to make these unforgettable moments.

Desde que tengo uso de razón, los atardeceres cumaneses han sido un espectáculo visual impresionante. El cielo azul arropa magníficos colores, tonalidades rojizas se multiplican con los últimos rayos solares, regalando imágenes sorprendentes a quien se detenga a contemplar.
Estaba de paseo por la plaza Ayacucho y capturé estas hermosas fotografías del paisaje, soy de esas personas que se deja cautivar con la naturaleza, mirar el cielo me causa una inmensa sensación de paz, es como si el mundo se detuviera por un instante para que mis ojos apreciaran la inmensidad de la belleza natural. Esos pequeños detalles que roban miradas y suspiros y nos hacen sentir agradecidos con la vida.
Esta vista me pareció sublime porque también se puede observar los pilares mas altos de la Catedral de la ciudad, fue como apreciar una obra pictórica en vivo. La construcción que aparece en primer plano es relativamente nueva, antes allí habían unas antiguas casas de bahareque que comenzaron a derrumbarse derrotadas por el tiempo. De allí que el gobierno municipal tomara la decisión de demoler y rehacer la pared, conservando cierto aire colonial.
Cumaná es una tierra llena de encantos, acá se pueden encontrar lugares hermosos, dignos de admirar. Disfruto recorrer sus calles, descansar en una plaza bajo la sombra de un árbol frondoso y sentir la brisa y el frescor que vienen acompañados por la corriente suave del Río Manzanares. El sentir cumanés se vive y se respira en las personas que transitan por el Parque Ayacucho y dejan un poco de su esencia en cada paso. Generaciones han pasado y mantienen con vida las tradiciones, los adultos mayores juegan dominó y ajedrez, en tanto los jóvenes acuden a patinar y los niños rien y juegan sobre los columpios.
Me encanta caminar a estas horas, se aproxima la noche y se pueden apreciar también a parejas de enamorados disfrutando de helados, pero también a familias enteras, como si el parque fuera el escenario ideal para la transición de la vida. Sobre nosotros, el cielo nos observa y regala cada atardecer como si fuera una postal para hacer de estos momentos instantes inolvidables.
