Hola amigos de la comunidad de Lifestyle espero se encuentren bien el día de hoy. Hace dos días estuvimos en las calles para votar por nuestro próximo candidato presidencial, como ya se veía venir las cosas no salieron muy bien pero lo que no se puede ocultar es que está vez las personas fueron tranquilas a ejercer su derecho al voto y las colas eran bastante largas y así ví que paso en todo el país. Me pregunto tantas cosas, pienso en cómo el poder te puede llevar a tomar decisiones erróneas solo con el fin de permanecer en un mandato para el cual realmente no tenías las de ganar. Aproveche ese día que estuve cerca del centro electoral para distraerme y sacar algunas fotografías en los alrededores y capturar lo bonito del lugar, recordando cuando pasaba por esas calles y aunque hoy en día se encuentra un poco desolado aún permanece aquel paisaje lleno de vegetación y de luz, además de ver unos cuantos gatitos en el camino que me detuve a acariciar y a observar, fue un día agotador y los próximos días serán cruciales para el pais. Solo deseo que Dios nos acompañe y que interceda por nosotros ya que el pueblo está sufriendo y necesitamos que las cosas cambien y que se respete nuestra decisión al momento de haber votado. Hoy en día más que nunca recuerdo cada momento difícil que hemos pasado como población y que a pesar de esto seguimos de pie y con ganas de mejorar, seguimos con la esperanza de que nuestra vida puede mejorar y que nos merecemos cosas buenas.

Two days ago we were in the streets to vote for our next presidential candidate, as it was already seen coming things did not go very well but what can not be hidden is that this time people were calm to exercise their right to vote and the queues were quite long and so I saw it happen all over the country. I wonder so many things, I think about how power can lead you to make wrong decisions just to stay in a mandate for which you really had no chance of winning. I took advantage of that day that I was near the electoral center to distract myself and take some pictures in the surroundings and capture the beauty of the place, remembering when I passed through those streets and although today it is a little desolate still remains that landscape full of vegetation and light, besides seeing a few kittens on the road that I stopped to pet and observe, it was an exhausting day and the next few days will be crucial for the country. I only wish that God will be with us and intercede for us since the people are suffering and we need things to change and that our decision to vote is respected. Today more than ever I remember every difficult moment we have gone through as a population and in spite of this we are still standing and wanting to improve, we are still hopeful that our life can improve and that we deserve good things.

La paz no tiene precio, no puedes comprarla ni tampoco pedir prestado un poco de ella,
Las personas aunque cometemos errores, nos damos cuenta de que si no nos unimos no podemos continuar,
La fe está intacta y el deseo de ver la luz se refleja en cada mirada,
Recordando a los que están, los que se fueron y los que se encuentran en otro plano y deseaban ver llegar este momento,
Las mentiras tienen patas cortas, es posible que mientas durante un tiempo pero llega un momento en que ya los demás no van a creerte más,
Se siente el deseo de la libertad, esa que tanto hemos soñado y que hoy estamos viendo con los pies en la tierra,
Dios no nos ha abandonado, el jamás deja a sus hijos solos y mucho menos permite lo que no podamos sobrellevar,
Las cosas se ven oscuras justo antes de salir el sol y así lo pienso, ahora somos más unidos y hemos aprendido de los tiempos oscuros que debemos luchar y continuar a pesar de las circunstancias,
Deseo poder ver a las personas que ya no están, pero también deseo poder ver un cambio que sea tan contudente que no quede ninguna duda de que el pueblo decidió.
I wrote this text after election day:
Peace has no price, you can't buy it nor can you borrow some of it,
People even though we make mistakes, we realize that if we do not unite we cannot go on,
Faith is intact and the desire to see the light is reflected in every glance,
Remembering those who are here, those who are gone and those who are on another plane and wished to see this moment arrive,
Lies have short legs, you may lie for a while but there comes a time when others will no longer believe you,
You can feel the desire for freedom, the one we have dreamed of so much and that today we are seeing with our feet on the ground,
God has not abandoned us, he never leaves his children alone and much less allows what we cannot bear,
Things look dark just before the sun rises and I think so, now we are more united and we have learned from the dark times that we must fight and continue despite the circumstances,
I wish I could see the people who are gone, but I also wish I could see a change that is so conclusive that there is no doubt that the people decided.
