Aunque los lunes por lo general no salgo a la ciudad, hoy fue uno de esos días atípicos en los que tocó hacer diligencias luego de mi jornada laboral. Estaba indecisa sobre cual ciudad me convenía más para hacer todos los pendientes, así que lo dejé a la suerte del primer colectivo que pasara por casa.
El autobús blanco y celeste apareció en la esquina de casa, así que mi destino fue ir a Lanús. Al llegar me dediqué a ir al banco para retirar efectivo, hacer las compras y los pagos, y cuando terminé todo, fui a buscar un lugar donde comerme algo, pues estaba sin almorzar, y ya veía borroso del hambre.
Al pasarme por lo que llamo la "cuadra gastronómica", pues en esa zona están varios locales de comida, recordé que está otra sede de Punto Límite, @puntolimitebar en IG, una franquicia temática que tiene varias sucursales en la capital Argentina.
Lo impresionante es que luego de pasar el umbral, terminé realmente en la taberna de Moe, siendo atendida por él mismo, quien limpiaba una de sus jarras y me ofreció una cerveza, que rechacé porque no consumo ese tipo de bebidas.
Ahí también conocí al Sr. Duff, el mismo que promociona esa marca, y que es casi un héroe para Homero Simpson, quien de seguro al verme tan cerca de él, sentiría envidia, aunque no sé si por conocerlo o por querer quitarle una de las latas que lleva encima.
También pude compartir con el cliente más fiel de la taberna, el buen amigo Barney, aunque comenzamos mal pues lo pillé viendo a donde no debería, jaja.
La guinda de esta inesperada visita fue que quise arriesgarme a probar uno de los huevos en salmuera, pero la taberna no acepta Mercado Pago y yo no tenía efectivo, así que quedé con las ganas. No sé si me salvé de intoxicarme o debo volver con los billetes en la mano. Ustedes que creen?
Although I usually don't go out in the city on Mondays, today was one of those atypical days when I had to run errands after work. I was undecided about which city was the most convenient for me to do all the errands, so I left it to the luck of the first bus that passed by my house.
The white and light blue bus appeared at the corner of my house, so my destination was Lanús. When I arrived, I went to the bank to withdraw cash, make purchases and payments, and when I finished everything, I went to look for a place to eat something, because I had no lunch, and I was already blurry from hunger.
As I passed by what I call the “gastronomic block”, because in that area there are several food places, I remembered that there is another branch of Punto Límite @puntolimitebar en IG a thematic franchise that has several branches in the capital of Argentina.
The impressive thing is that after passing the threshold, I actually ended up in Moe's tavern, being served by Moe himself, who was cleaning one of his mugs and offered me a beer, which I refused because I don´t consume that kind of drinks.
There I also met Mr. Duff, the same one who promotes that brand, and who is almost a hero for Homer Simpson, who surely upon seeing me so close to him, would feel envious, although I don't know if for knowing him or for wanting to take away one of the cans he has on him.
I was also able to share with the most loyal customer of the tavern, the good friend Barney, although we started off badly because I caught him looking where he shouldn't, haha.
The cherry on top of this unexpected visit was that I wanted to risk trying one of the eggs in brine, but the tavern does not accept Mercado Pago and I did not have cash, so I was left wanting. I don't know if I was saved from getting intoxicated or if I should go back with the bills in my hand. What do you think?
