Hello, how are you all? I'm full of excitement and enthusiasm after spending a few days in the city of San Felipe, Yaracuy state (Venezuela) for a very important event to which I was more than just a guest, I was a protagonist. But I'll tell you about that another time. Today I'd like to show you some pictures I took during my trip to that city, since the house where I was staying is part of the beautiful Olympic Village of the city and is therefore surrounded by gyms and other extremely important places for the development and training of athletes, many of whom have even become medalists. A good friend of Mom's was our guide on the tour, since we were staying at her house, and she was the one who gave us information.
Hola, ¿Cómo están todos? Yo vengo cargada de emoción y entusiasmo luego de haber pasado unos días en la ciudad de San Felipe, estado Yaracuy (Venezuela) a propósito de un evento muy importante al que fui más que invitada, protagonista, pero de eso les hablaré en otra ocasión, hoy me gustaría mostrarles algunas imágenes que hice durante mi recorrido a esa ciudad, ya que la casa donde me estaba quedando forma parte de la hermosa villa olímpica de la ciudad y por lo tanto está rodeada de gimnasios y demás lugares importantísimos para el desarrollo y formación de los atletas, muchos de ellos incluso han llegado a ser medallistas. Una gran amiga de mamá fue nuestra guía en el recorrido, ya que nos estábamos quedando en su casa y fue quien nos dio información.
One of the things that caught my attention the most was the large number of flowers in that city, especially in the Olympic Village area. They are beautiful and come in many different colors.
Una de las cosas que más llamó mi atención fue la gran cantidad de flores que hay en esa ciudad, sobre todo en el área de la villa olímpica, son hermosas y hay de muchos colores diferentes.
One of the buildings that caught my attention the most was the rhythmic gymnastics building. Unfortunately, we couldn't get in because there was class in session and the girls needed to concentrate. Although the drought has kept the area very dry, it's already turning green with the first rains.
Uno de las edificaciones que más llamó mi atención fue el de gimnasia rítmica, lamentablemente no pudimos acceder a él porque había clases y las niñas necesitaban concentración. A pesar de que la sequía ha mantenido el lugar muy árido, se nota que ya está reverdeciendo con las primeras lluvias
See what I'm saying about the flowers? There are lots of them, and they're beautiful. I also liked that throughout the place there are sculptures related to Olympic disciplines. In this case, these sculptures are holding the Olympic rings. It's a beautiful detail.
¿Ven lo que les digo sobre las flores? Hay muchas y son hermosas. También me gustó que por todo el lugar hay esculturas que tienen que ver con disciplinas olímpicas, en este caso estas estas esculturas sostienen los aros olímpicos, es un detalle hermoso.
That whole afternoon was cloudy but I was happy because I love that weather, I love cloudy days to go for a walk (as long as it's not raining) but I love the freshness of the environment, the cool breeze that swirls my hair and refreshes my skin, seeing the gray sky and the clouds that when they come down look like the sea from the mountain.
Todo esa tarde estuvo nublada pero yo estaba feliz porque amo ese clima, me encantan los días nublados para ir de paseo (siempre y cuando no llueva) pero me encanta la frescura del ambiente, la brisa fresca que arremolina mis cabellos y refresca mi piel, ver el cielo gris y las nubes que al bajar se ven como el mar desde la montaña.
On the way home, it was getting dark because we were visiting other places to see, but I couldn't miss the beautiful city arch, located on the San Felipe-Independence municipal border. I love it 😍.
De regreso a casa se nos hizo de noche porque fuimos a otros lugares para visitar y conocer, pero yo no podía pasar desapercibido el hermoso arco de la ciudad que se encuentra ubicado en los límites municipales San Felipe - Independencia. Me encanta 😍
