Hello friends, how are you? I for one am very happy and with great expectations for the event I have coming up, tomorrow to be exact (God willing) is the presentation of my first book 😃😄 I still can't believe it but I am really grateful to God for this wonderful dream fulfilled. However I don't want to arrive at the event empty handed, my intention is to put together some small gifts for the professors who will be at the presentation of my work. After much analysis of what would be the right small gift, I came to the conclusion that the best thing would be to give bookmarks (after all they are people who read a lot) but this could not be just any bookmark, I wanted it to be totally personalized, with phrases and elements of my work, I also thought of giving them notepads and pens, so I went to the center of my city (Valencia, Venezuela) to look for everything I needed.
Hola amigos ¿Cómo están? Yo por mi parte estoy muy feliz y con muchas expectativas por el evento que tengo en puertas próximamente, mañana para ser exactos (Dios mediante) se trata la presentación de mi primer libro 😃😄 aún no puedo creerlo pero realmente estoy muy agradecida con Dios por este maravilloso sueño cumplido. Sin embargo yo no quiero llegar al evento con las manos vacías, mi intención es armar algunos pequeños regalos para los catedráticos que estarán en la presentación de mi obra. Después de mucho analizar cual sería el pequeño regalo indicado, llegué a la conclusión que lo mejor sería regalar marca libros (después de todo son personas que leen mucho) pero este no podía ser cualquier marca libros, quise que fuese totalmente personalizado, con frases y elementos de mi obra, además pensé en regalarles blocks de notas y bolígrafos, así que me fui al centro de mi ciudad (Valencia, de Venezuela) a buscar todo lo que yo necesitaba.
That day I couldn't find anything I was looking for, nothing had the ideal size or were too small or too big. But another day, after going through several bookstores and stationery stores looking for the notepads I was looking for I finally found the ones I wanted, they were perfect, so I took about 25 of those.
Ese día no pude encontrar nada de lo que estaba buscando, nada tenía el tamaño ideal o eran demasiado pequeñas o muy grandes. Pero otro día, después de recorrer varias librerías y tiendas de papelería en busca de los blocks de notas que yo andaba buscando finalmente encontré las que yo quería, eran perfectas, así que me llevé unas 25 de esas.
I was also looking for something like crepe paper or cellophane to wrap the gifts but in the end I backed out because I went by my mom's advice, it would be best to use Kraft paper bags and personalize them.
También estaba buscando algo como papel crepé o celofán para envolver los regalos pero al final me retracté porque me dejé llevar por el consejo de mi mamá, lo mejor sería usar bolsas de papel Kraft y personalizarlas.
So happy that I was able to find everything I needed I went back home (that day I was with my dad @victor2356 He helped me a lot! Thanks, daddy 😘)

On February 28th (my birthday) I was on a girls outing with my sister @bethyjade, but I was still working because I dedicated myself to buy the rest of the things I needed to make the bookmarks, so we went to a printing and graphic design center to print the designs that I had previously prepared, At the beginning I had a little trouble to get the idea of the size I wanted each element, but then the ideas flowed and there were no problems, I left there very satisfied, ready to make my beloved bookmarks 😍.
El día 28 de febrero (día de mi cumpleaños) yo andaba en una salida de chicas con mi hermana @bethyjade, pero aún así yo estaba trabajando pues me dediqué a comprar el resto de cosas que necesitaba para elaborar los marca libros, de esta manera fuimos a un centro de impresiones y diseño gráfico para que imprimieran los diseños que yo había preparado previamente, al inicio tuve un poco de problemas para que me captaran la idea del tamaño que yo quería cada elemento, pero luego las ideas fluyeron y no hubo problemas, salí de allí muy satisfecha, preparada para elaborar mis amados marca libros 😍.
And anyway... after there I didn't stop working on that project, I will probably share it with you in the crafting community because I would love for you to see them.
