La primavera llegó y consigo trajo la feria más visitada de Curitiba, ubicada en la Plaza Osorio, obviamente la feria de la primavera jajaja quería mostrarle o transmitirles a todos mis lectores lo lindo que se siente estar en ese lugar, así que les voy a muchas bendiciones para esta comunidad que me da la oportunidad de publicar estas hermosas cosas, lifestyle.
Así que decidí ir a tomar unas fotos y a ocupar la mente solo en observar mi alrededor, por el lugar corrían niños felices jugando, personas libres con sus banderas coloridas, ya que a pocos metros había un evento del LGBT, y eso porque estamos en el mes del orgullo Gay, para mí nada en contra, mientras que las personas sean felices sin hacerle daño a otros, todo está bien.
Spring has arrived, bringing with it the most visited fair in Curitiba, located in Osorio Square. Obviously, the spring fair. So, I decided to take some photos and occupy my mind just by observing my surroundings. Happy children were running around playing, and free people with their colorful flags were waving. There was an LGBT event just a few meters away, and that's because it's Gay Pride Month. I have nothing against it. As long as people are happy without harming others, everything is fine.
Yo visité a mi amiga que trabaja en la feria en el puesto gastronómico de Bolivia, y eso es una fija, las ferias aquí son muy recurrentes, y esta en especial se concentra en tener gran variedad de comidas de otros países.
Me faltó tomar más fotos, pero mi batería estaba baja, fui feliz comiendo shawarma con esa salsa de ajo que solo los árabes saben preparar, una delicia.
I visited my friend who works at the Bolivian food fair, and that's a given. Fairs here are very frequent, and this one in particular focuses on a wide variety of foods from other countries.
I should have taken more photos, but my battery was low. I was happy eating shawarma with that garlic sauce that only Arabs know how to make—delicious.
A parte había algo que era difícil de ignorar, la plaza estaba custodiada de la policía militar, justo para mantener el orden, ya que nada es perfecto y uno que otro morador de calle andaba en la zona, tratando de robar momentos de paz.
La vida se trata de eso, de observar los momentos, de compartir en familia una cerveza bien fría, una comida no tan típica de Brasil y comprar plantitas. Yo quería traerme una planta, pero preferí comer por el momento.
On top of that, there was something hard to ignore: the square was guarded by military police, just to maintain order, since nothing is perfect, and the occasional homeless person was wandering around the area, trying to steal moments of peace
That's what life is about: observing the moments, sharing a cold beer with family, a meal not so typical of Brazil, and buying some plants. I wanted to bring a plant with me, but I preferred to eat for the moment.
La feria estará en el lugar hasta el día 11 de Octubre, así que antes de eso es probable que vuelva por una planta y otro shawarma jajaja, aparte que me quedo horas hablando con mi amiga, a ella la conozco de Venezuela, y justo es la mamá de mi prima.
También tuvimos varias pláticas interesantes con algunos compradores, sobre cultura, espiritualidad, hasta de lo rica que es la pimienta de Bolivia con sus empanadas artesanales.
The fair will be there until October 11th, so before then I'll probably come back for a plant and another shawarma, haha. Besides, I spend hours talking with my friend. I know her from Venezuela, and she's my cousin's mother.
We also had several interesting conversations with some buyers, about culture, spirituality, even how delicious Bolivian pepper is with their artisanal empanadas.
