Las salidas durante estos días han sido inevitable, por más que uno se planifique siempre hay cositas y gastos que salen de último momento.
Me tocó ir el día 23 en horas de la tarde a hacer unas últimas compras antes del día de navidad. Ese día había salido desde bien temprano al centro de Cabimas a comprar algunas cosas para mi hijo y para la cena.
Yo estaba algo cansada pero no me detuve, pues al otro día era 24 y sería mucho más complicado el poder hacer las compras. Además, tenía muchos pendientes en casa y me sería imposible hacerlo.
Así que me armé de valor y me fui a tomar un transporte a la avenida luego de haber llegado a casa y almorzado.

The outings during these days have been unavoidable, no matter how much planning you do there are always little things and expenses that come up at the last minute.
I had to go out on the 23rd in the afternoon to do some last minute shopping before Christmas Day. That day I had gone out early in the morning to the centre of Cabimas to buy some things for my son and for dinner.
I was a bit tired but I didn't stop, because the next day was the 24th and it would be much more complicated to do the shopping. Besides, I had a lot of things to do at home and it would be impossible for me to do it.
So I plucked up my courage and went to take a bus to the avenue after I got home and had lunch.
Al llegar, un bonito atardecer iluminaba el centro comercial. Yo la verdad no suelo salir a estas horas de casa, así que admirar estos momentos para mi son valiosos.
Aproveché de tomar algunas fotos y luego caminar hacia la entrada para ponerme "manos a la obra".
When we arrived, a beautiful sunset was illuminating the shopping centre. I don't really go out at this time of day, so admiring these moments is precious to me.
I took the opportunity to take some photos and then walk towards the entrance to get down to work.
Dentro del centro comercial habían muchas personas, que como yo, estaban haciendo sus compras de último momento o simplemente disfrutando de un momento agradable en compañía de sus seres queridos.
Este es el único sitio de entretenimiento de la ciudad, pues el resto son centros comerciales pequeños y sin mucho flujo de personas. Así que vienen desde lejos a comer helado, ir al cine o simplemente caminar por los pasillos.
Por eso en las fechas importantes suele estar lleno de personas.
Inside the mall there were many people, who like me, were doing their last minute shopping or just enjoying a nice moment in the company of their loved ones.
This is the only entertainment place in the city, as the rest are small malls without much flow of people. So they come from far away to eat ice cream, go to the cinema or just walk along the aisles.
That is why on important dates it is usually full of people.
Debía hacer unas pequeñas compras de snacks y bebidas, algunas cosas de maquillaje que me hacían falta y también otras cositas.
La fila para pagar era algo larga, así que fui muy puntual a la hora de tomar las cosas que iba a comprar, pues me daba miedo demorar demasiado como en horas de la mañana en la otra sede de la tienda.
Por fortuna avancé muy rápido y en cuestión de minutos ya estaba lista con mis compras.
I had to make some small purchases of snacks and drinks, some make-up that I needed and also some other little things.
The line to pay was a bit long, so I was very punctual when it came to taking the things I was going to buy, as I was afraid of taking too long as in the morning hours in the other part of the shop.
Fortunately I moved very quickly and in a matter of minutes I was ready with my purchases.
Al salir, pasé por una tienda de regalos que está casi al frente de la tienda Total para comprar unas envolturas que me faltaban para envolver los regalos.
Habían muchos diseños lindos, por lo que era difícil de escoger. De salida me encontré la tienda Ovejita, donde habían ofertas en blusas sin mangas a 1$.
Como no había logrado comprar nada para usar el 24, decidí comprarme una de estas blusas, pues lucían muy cómodas y a buen precio.
Así que tomé el tono de rosa que más se parecía a mi, y la compré.
On the way out, I stopped by a gift shop almost opposite the Total shop to buy some wrapping paper I needed to wrap my presents.
There were a lot of cute designs, so it was hard to choose. On the way out I found the Ovejita shop, where they had a sale on sleeveless blouses for 1$.
As I hadn't managed to buy anything to wear on the 24th, I decided to buy one of these blouses, as they looked very comfortable and at a good price.
So I picked the shade of pink that looked most like me, and bought it.
Y así finalizó mi pequeña salida de compras, una última visita al centro comercial Costa Mall por este año.
