El martes de la semana pasada tenía programada la clase de pintura para el grupo que tengo en la academia que queda cerca de casa.
El grupo es pequeño, está compuesto por mi hijo, una pequeña que está en su mismo nivel, es decir, en el nivel II de pintura, y dos pequeñas que forman parte del grupo inicial.
Esta vez no pude llevar a mi hijo conmigo porque tenía pendiente hacer un trabajo con sus amiguitos del colegio así que le di chance para que saliera de ese pendiente.

Last week Tuesday I had scheduled the painting class for the group I have in the academy that is close to home.
The group is small, it is composed of my son, a little girl who is in his same level, that is, in level II of painting, and two little girls who are part of the initial group.
This time I couldn't take my son with me because he had some work to do with his friends at school, so I gave him a chance to get out of it.
Se hicieron las 4 y 20 y todavía no llegaba ninguna de mis alumnas, cosa que me pareció súper raro y que inclusive le pregunté a mi compañera a ver si sabía el por qué de la falta.
Para no perder el tiempo decidí continuar trabajando con el mural del salón de pintura, así hacía tiempo en lo que veía si terminaban de llegar o no las niñas.

De igual forma traté en la medida de lo posible adelantar lo más que podía mi trabajo, pues es algo que me genera mucha ansiedad, el verlo incompleto cada vez que voy a dar clases.

En realidad ella comenzó cuando yo inicié a dar clases en la academia en el mes de octubre, pero la verdad en la pequeña no se han visto los avances y nos tocó tomar la triste decisión de regresarla al nivel inicial, pues la idea es que a medida que avanza en los niveles la niña vaya progresando.
Como estábamos cortos de tiempo decidí colocarla a colorear un dibujo que ya tenía previamente dibujado. No íbamos a avanzar en nada pero por lo menos así ella practicaba la técnica de coloreado y además no perdía el tiempo.

Since we were short of time, I decided to have her color a picture she had already drawn. We were not going to make any progress but at least this way she was practicing the coloring technique and not wasting time.
La niña no llegó sola, la fue a llevar su hermana mayor que anteriormente fue mi alumna.
Ella es madre adolescente y por muchas razones ella dejó de asistir a clases, el cuidado de su pequeño fue una de ellas.
Se quedó a acompañarla hasta el final de la clase y durante la hora que estuvieron me hizo saber su interés en querer colorear así como lo estaba haciendo su hermana.
Yo la verdad no tengo problema en ellos y le facilité otro de los dibujos que tenía en mi carpeta.
El pequeño durante la clase se portó terrible jajaja quería estar tirando todo, como todo bebé. El problema era que mi alumna se distraía fácilmente y a pesar de que no les estaba explicando ningún tema, interfirió en el correcto desarrollo de su actividad.
The girl did not arrive alone, she was taken by her older sister who was previously my student.
She is a teenage mother and for many reasons she stopped attending classes, taking care of her little one was one of them.
She stayed to accompany her until the end of the class and during the hour they were there she let me know her interest in coloring as well as her sister was doing.
I really have no problem with them and gave her another of the drawings I had in my folder.
The little boy was terrible during the class hahaha he wanted to be throwing everything, like every baby. The problem was that my student was easily distracted and even though I wasn't explaining anything to them, it interfered in the correct development of their activity.
A pesar de el ruido y la locura, logré avanzar algo en el mural y disfrutarme el momento.
El pintar es algo que me relaja y me hace olvidarme por algunos instantes lo que tanto me agobia a diario.
El estar haciendo este mural me ha hecho mucho bien y por supuesto ya quiero verlo listo.
Despite the noise and the madness, I managed to make some progress on the mural and enjoy the moment.
Painting is something that relaxes me and makes me forget for a few moments what overwhelms me so much every day.
Doing this mural has done me a lot of good and of course I want to see it ready.
Acá les comparto la imagen del comienzo comparada de cómo quedó luego de esas dos horas de trabajo. Parece sencillo pero para que quede bien hay que dedicarle sutiempo a cada forma.
