Ayer me tocaba asistir al curso de panadería pero en la noche la maestra de mi hijo nos informó que debíamos asistir a una reunión con carácter de urgencia para ponernos de acuerdo con lo que se iba a hacer en la graduación de nuestros hijos.
Desde hace meses quedamos en un acuerdo de que se iba a celebrar la graduación de nuestros hijos en una sala y que también le haríamos una fiesta para celebrarlo.
Pero habían muchas cosas inconclusas y ya se está acercando la fecha, cosa que me tenía muy preocupada. Por eso decidí llegar un poco más tarde al curso y asistir a la reunión para ver a qué acuerdo se llegaría.

Yesterday it was my turn to attend the bakery course but in the evening my son's teacher informed us that we had to attend a meeting as a matter of urgency to agree on what was going to be done for our children's graduation.
We had agreed months ago that we would celebrate our children's graduation in a hall and that we would also have a party to celebrate it.
But there were many unfinished things and the date is getting closer, which had me very worried. So I decided to arrive a little later to the course and attend the meeting to see what agreement would be reached.

En estas cosas es preferible que se lleven a cabo con una buena organización porque sino no se haría nada.

La reunión terminó casi a las 9 y media y yo sali corriendo para irme al curso de panadería. Iba súper tarde y esperaba que no hubieran iniciado para que me dieran chance de ver toda la receta y también poder documentar el proceso.
El sol estaba terriblemente fuerte pero como se me dañó el paraguas, me tocaba aguantar.
The meeting ended at almost 9:30 and I left running to go to the bakery course. I was super late and I was hoping that they hadn't started yet so I could see the whole recipe and document the process.
The sun was terribly strong but since my umbrella was damaged, I had to endure it.
La clase ya ha iniciado y al preguntar que habían hecho me di cuenta que no habían avanzado tanto como yo pensaba. Me dió tiempo de revisar los apuntes y ponerme al tanto de lo que iba ocurriendo porque por suerte, hubo que repetir varias veces la mezcla que estaban haciendo.
The class has already started and when I asked what they had done I realized that they had not made as much progress as I thought. It gave me time to review the notes and catch up on what was going on because luckily, I had to repeat several times the mixing they were doing.
Todas las cosas que había que hacer ya estaban a cargo de algunos de mis compañeros, así que yo aproveché de sentarme a descansar un poco porque había corrido prácticamente para llegar a la clase.
All the things that needed to be done were already taken care of by some of my classmates, so I took the opportunity to sit down and rest a bit because I had practically run to get to class.
Luego de algunas horas por fin se hizo el armado de los pasteles que teníamos planeado para ese día y se repartió una porción para cada uno.
Una mañana agotadora pero que por fortuna pude asistir a ambos compromisos e informarme tanto en la reunión como en el curso.

After a few hours we finally assembled the cakes we had planned for that day and a slice was distributed to each one of us.
It was an exhausting morning but fortunately I was able to attend both commitments and get informed both in the meeting and in the course.
