Hola Chicos!
Hello Guys!
With this journey of ConVinArte we have been constantly going out to buy things, we have traveled to Maracaibo looking for better prices, a thousand things have happened to us, even I fell off a bicycle and I will tell you about it in this blog.
It has truly been a challenge to create this event from scratch, we have even been doing the math and the numbers don't seem to be in our favor because of all the capital we have had to invest.
But that's how these things are, it's our first ConVinArte, we are making ourselves known, we still don't have recognition in the city and we have to go with small steps opening roads.
On Wednesday after the presentation at the Theater, we took advantage of the fact that we were downtown and decided to walk around to look for the remaining things. We were missing brushes, paints and the famous staples of the industrial stapler that we have been looking for in all the hardware stores.
We first went to a store called Venus to look for the eyeliner brushes we needed, we got them for $1.60 there. Venus is a store that sells underwear, makeup and products for nails, eyebrows and eyelashes.
After shopping there we walked to some chinitos called ''El amigo''. In these stores there is more variety, there we were looking for the jars to empty the paints, the paints and some gold coins to make some souvenirs.
The coins were very expensive and there were too many of them, so we decided not to buy them there.
We bought the paints and looked for the jars but did not find any.
After paying we went out to have some breakfast because as usual, we were about to faint.
We arrived at a pastry stand, it's funny because whenever we have to go out to do something what we eat is pastries, we ordered two combos and two soft drinks and sat down to eat and rest a little.
We were pretty full even though it was just cupcakes, when we finished we went to ''El Castillo'' to buy the missing paints and the flannels that we will use that day.
We were a little saddened by the fact that we will not be able to put the logo on the t-shirts, we wanted to identify them to look a little more formal but due to budget issues it will not be possible.
After making these purchases, we walked to a hardware store to see if they had the staples we were looking for but to no avail, I decided to take some pictures of the paints they had as samples since I liked the blue tones for the academy.
We didn't manage to find the staples so we decided to go to the academy because it was getting close to class time and even though I was terribly tired I had to teach those classes, I don't like having to postpone or cancel classes, to avoid bad comments from the mothers.
And well, this was the whole post. As a farewell I will share with you this picture of the Cathedral of my city.
Thanks for reading until next time!
