Hola Chicos!
Hi Guys!
In this post I want to tell you about a very beautiful experience that we had the joy of living.
For many years I had the dream of being able to brighten the lives of others. I always used to give away my clothes, even though I didn't have many. I used to give away my toys, my breakfast, if someone asked me for money or some help in the street it was impossible to say no. But I felt that this was not enough.
But I felt that this was not enough, I asked God tirelessly to give me the tools to help others.
others.
When I created the Academy, my first thought was "maybe with this, I can help children" and we set out to work very hard to create activities and seek donations to make a difference in the lives of children and families.
After the event we started planning to do something for Christmas. So we thought about giving away toys. We organized a raffle and started asking for donations to buy the toys that were going to be given away.
We received donations from the Dominican Republic and from many family and friends in Venezuela.
When we completed the money, we went straight to the center to get the toys.
We started to choose the toys, we tried not to repeat the toys more than 2 times in order to give something different to each child and we tried to look for the most beautiful toys.
After we had the toys we started to call the children of R5 to come to the academy on January 6th to receive their toys, enjoy face painting and a little snack.
And the day finally arrived, we started to prepare all the things, we selected the toys, we took out the paints, we prepared the juice and we started to wait for the children. At first we were very scared because they had not arrived. Until finally, they began to arrive little by little and they seemed very happy and that made us even happier.
The children selected their face painting, drank their juice and were thrilled to receive their toys and, of course, immediately began to try them out, even going out into the street to play a game of free-for-all.
Knowing that we had created those smiles that day filled us with great pride and satisfaction. We continue to plan surprises and ways to brighten the day not only for the children, but for entire families.
Thanks so much for reading, see you guys next time!
