🚀 HiveDev Barquisimeto: Abriendo Caminos hacia la Web3 desde las Universidades
El pasado sábado, en las instalaciones del CETAM, se llevó a cabo la primera edición del taller técnico "HiveDev", una iniciativa del equipo de @hivetalkproject que marca el inicio de una nueva fase en la difusión y educación sobre la blockchain Hive en ambientes universitarios.
👥 Participación y Colaboración
El taller contó con la participación de estudiantes y docentes de cuatro instituciones universitarias: UCLA, UNEXPO, UPTAEB e IUJO. Los asistentes, en su mayoría estudiantes universitarios, también incluyeron profesionales y docentes universitarios. Esta diversidad enriqueció las discusiones y permitió adaptar el contenido a diferentes niveles de conocimiento.
Mi punto de vista como "profesor"
Pude notar que aunque no lo parezca, muchos de los profesionales alli y sobretodo los estudiantes y programadores, estan utilizando las ultimas tendencias en cuanto a programacion se refiere, ademas estan avidos por desarrollar. Algunos incluso comentaron varias ideas.

A pesar de todo #Venezuela brilla con luz propia
Para todos no es un secreto la situacion que nuestro pais viviendo. Y puedo decir que me llena de orgullo ver como ese dia queda escrito, en letras de motivacion y paciencia:
Los Venezolanos no nos rendimos y nunca nos detendremos en aras de progresar constantemente y crecer en todos los ambitos posibles.
🎯 Objetivos del Taller
HiveDev se enfocó en:
Promover el conocimiento de la blockchain y Web3 en estudiantes y profesionales de la tecnología, impulsado con alianzas en las universidades.
Motivar a las universidades a utilizar Hive como ecosistema de aprendizaje, destacando su velocidad y ausencia de comisiones en las transacciones.
Fomentar la creación de proyectos en Venezuela, en colaboración con universidades, empresas y otros interesados, utilizando Hive como plataforma para el desarrollo de Dapps y modelos de negocio rentables.
🧠 Contenido y Dinámica del Taller
Para este taller fui un tanto ambicioso en cuanto se trata de objetivos y temas. No dio tiempo de exponer y explicar todo lo que habia planeado pero, se hizo lo que se pudo. Me doy cuenta que 3 horas no son suficientes y en un futuro tendremos que dividir los temas para poder abordar mas contenido y sobretodo, contenido practico.
Y por lo menos ningun participante sintio aburrimiento. Aunque no haya sido tarea facil "resumir 5 años de experiencia en HIVE en 3 horas"
🔗 Propuestas para el Seguimiento y Futuras Iniciativas
Ya propuse al equipo de HiveTalkProject varias iniciativas clave para fortalecer el aprendizaje continuo y preparar a los participantes para futuros desafíos:
Establecer un grupo de contacto: Crear un canal de comunicación con los participantes del taller, especialmente con los programadores, para fomentar el intercambio de ideas y resolver dudas.
Seguimiento personalizado: Brindar apoyo continuo a través de estos canales, ayudando a los participantes en sus prácticas de código con Hive y resolviendo inquietudes técnicas.
Reuniones virtuales: Ofrecer sesiones en línea para guiar a los participantes, revisar su código y proporcionar orientación personalizada.
Estas acciones tienen como objetivo preparar a los programadores para un futuro hackatón, asegurando que cuenten con los conocimientos básicos e intermedios necesarios para diseñar Dapps exitosas en el ecosistema Hive.
🌱 Importancia de Compartir Conocimiento
Este taller representa un paso significativo en la construcción de una comunidad tecnológica sólida y colaborativa en Venezuela. Abrir espacios para compartir conocimiento no solo empodera a los participantes, sino que también sienta las bases para un ecosistema de innovación y desarrollo sostenible.

Este taller es solo el comienzo de una serie de iniciativas que buscan fortalecer el conocimiento y la aplicación de la tecnología blockchain en el ámbito académico y profesional en Venezuela. La colaboración y el intercambio de experiencias son fundamentales para construir un futuro más conectado y descentralizado.
Lo que muchos sueñan y me incluyo
- Contar con un laboratorio para practicas libres relacionadas con el desarrollo en HIVE y WEB3
- Poder ofrecer no solo unas horas de conocimientos sino tambien equipos modernos como laptops y buena conexion al internet a todos los participantes durante los talleres.

🚀 HiveDev Barquisimeto: Paving the Way to Web3 from Universities
Last Saturday, at the CETAM facilities, the first edition of the technical workshop "HiveDev" was held. This initiative by the @hivetalkproject team marks the beginning of a new phase in disseminating and educating about the Hive blockchain within university environments.
👥 Participation and Collaboration
The workshop featured participation from students and faculty of four universities: UCLA, UNEXPO, UPTAEB, and IUJO. Attendees, primarily university students, also included professionals and university professors. This diversity enriched discussions and allowed the content to be tailored to various knowledge levels.
My Perspective as a "Professor"
I noticed that, although it might not seem so, many professionals there, especially students and programmers, are utilizing the latest trends in programming. Moreover, they are eager to develop. Some even shared several ideas.

It's no secret the situation our country is experiencing. I can say that it fills me with pride to see how that day is written in letters of motivation and patience:
Venezuelans do not give up and will never stop striving to progress constantly and grow in all possible areas.
🎯 Workshop Objectives
HiveDev focused on:
Promoting knowledge of blockchain and Web3 among students and technology professionals, driven by alliances with universities.
Encouraging universities to use Hive as a learning ecosystem, highlighting its speed and absence of transaction fees.
Fostering the creation of projects in Venezuela, in collaboration with universities, companies, and other stakeholders, using Hive as a platform for developing Dapps and profitable business models.
🧠 Workshop Content and Dynamics
For this workshop, I was somewhat ambitious regarding objectives and topics. There wasn't enough time to present and explain everything I had planned, but we did what we could. I realize that three hours are not enough, and in the future, we will have to divide the topics to cover more content, especially practical content.
At least no participant felt bored. Although it wasn't an easy task to "summarize 5 years of experience in HIVE in 3 hours."
🔗 Proposals for Follow-Up and Future Initiatives
I have already proposed several key initiatives to the HiveTalkProject team to strengthen continuous learning and prepare participants for future challenges:
Establishing a contact group: Creating a communication channel with workshop participants, especially programmers, to foster idea exchange and address questions.
Personalized follow-up: Providing continuous support through these channels, assisting participants in their Hive coding practices and resolving technical concerns.
Virtual meetings: Offering online sessions to guide participants, review their code, and provide personalized guidance.
These actions aim to prepare programmers for a future hackathon, ensuring they possess the basic and intermediate knowledge necessary to design successful Dapps within the Hive ecosystem.
🌱 Importance of Sharing Knowledge
This workshop represents a significant step in building a solid and collaborative technological community in Venezuela. Creating spaces to share knowledge not only empowers participants but also lays the foundation for an ecosystem of innovation and sustainable development.

This workshop is just the beginning of a series of initiatives aimed at strengthening the knowledge and application of blockchain technology in the academic and professional fields in Venezuela. Having a laboratory for free practices related to development in HIVE and WEB3.
Being able to offer not only hours of knowledge but also modern equipment like laptops and good internet connectivity to all participants during the workshops.
