Amigos de #Throwback Thursday. Es bueno llegar hasta aquí no solo para recordar sino para no olvidar. Hoy queiro hablarles sobre un recuerdo muy importante precisamente relacionado con José Martí, con el arte, la trova y la poesía.
Cada año, en un rincón especial de nuestro Baire un grupo de poetas, trovadores y amigos nos reunimos para rendir homenaje a la memoria de José Martí y a Eduard Encina. Es un encuentro, que se convierte en una tradición, un acto de amor hacia la cultura y una manera de nunca olvidar nuestras raíces.
Recuerdo vividamente la primera vez que participé como organizadora. Fui testigo de la emoción y el fervor de aquellos que compartimos una pasión por la poesía y la música. La alegría y las risas y conversaciones llenaba el ambiente mientras recibíamos a los invitados, artistas y amigos nuestros.
Juntos preparamos el escenario, donde la figura de José Martí estaba presente en el tema de nuestras discusiones, donde se sintió en cada verso que se leía y en cada acorde que se tocaba el espíritu martiano.
La poesía de Martí, con su profunda conexión a la patria y su inquebrantable amor por la libertad, siempre ha sido un faro que guía la creatividad de los jóvenes. Que hermoso fue encontar inspiración para hablar sobre la realidad contemporánea, para plasmar en palabras el anhelo de una Cuba más justa.
Fueun momento de reflexión, donde convertimos la palabra en un puente entre el pasado y el presente, como jovenes artistas recordamos que la lucha por la justicia y la libertad continúa.
Celebrar a Eduard Encina, su obra cargada de un poderoso discurso poético es ya parte de nuestra identidad cultural.
Durante aquel evento, cada uno de nosotros tuvo la oportunidad de compartir sus propios poemas y canciones. Fue un momento de libertad creativa, donde las emociones fluyen sin restricciones y el arte fueron el canal para expresar lo que somos y nuestras, verdades.
Fueron tres días de vivencias profundas y al despedirnos siempre nos llevamos el corazón lleno de gratitud y compromiso. Recordar a José Martí y a Eduard Encina en El Tierra adentro no es solo ser parte de un Evento más ni un acto de nostalgia, es y siempre será sino un llamado a la acción.
Es un recuerdo valioso para mí porque me dejó con la certeza de que el arte, la poesía y la música son herramientas poderosas que mantienen viva nuestra memoria histórica

An art and memory encounter
Friends of #Throwback Thurday. It is good to get here not only to remember but not to forget today to talk about a very important memory that precisely related to José Martí, to art, trova and poetry.

I remember the first time I participated as an organizer.I witnessed the emotion and fervor of those who share a passion for poetry and music.The joy and laughter and conversations filled the atmosphere while we received our guests, artists and friends.
Together we prepared the stage, where the figure of José Martí was present in the subject of our discussions, where he felt in each verse that was read and in each chord that the Martian spirit was played.
Martí's poetry, with its deep connection to the homeland and its unwavering love for freedom, has always been a lighthouse that guides the creativity of young people.How beautiful it was to find inspiration to talk about contemporary reality, to capture in words the desire of a fairer Cuba.
It was a moment of reflection, where we turned the word into a bridge between the past and the present, as young artists we remember that the struggle for justice and freedom continues.
Celebrating Eduard Encina, his work full of a powerful poetic speech is already part of our cultural identity.
During that event, each of us had the opportunity to share their own poems and songs.It was a moment of creative freedom, where emotions flow without restrictions and art were the channel to express who we are and ours, truths.
They were three days of deep experiences and when we always take our hearts full of gratitude and commitment.Remembering José Martí and Eduard Encina in the inland is not just being part of one more event or an act of nostalgia, it is and always will be a call to action.
It is a valuable memory for me because it left me with the certainty that art, poetry and music are powerful tools that keep our historical memory alive
