Throwback to the last time I soaked up the magic of Disney with son and the fambam, April 2023. I told him it was a bad time to visit as it was easter and the parks were rammed. But he wouldn't listen.
Find a spot, get comfy. elbows out if necessary. Do not invade my space, you are not welcome in my face. 9:00pm will soon be here.
Disney is the second-largest buyer of explosives globally, but takes the crown as the king of purchasers of fireworks. Ironically produced and shipped in from China.
A massive $40,000 is spent on fireworks a night - adding up to an eye-watering $50 million on average in a year. Small beer considering its about $100 a ticket a day per person.
That will now obviously go up considerably, well done The Donald, and we ain't talking the duck here.
For over 50 years the skies above Cinderella Castle have been illuminated by fireworks, in a nightly show, delighting the millions of park visitors; at first it was only lasting a few minutes, but now, well it's all fucking amazing with light shows, music, lasers and predominantly smoke free pyrotechnics that go on for a good half hour.
I really can't get my head around people who scorn at Disney Holidays, have you ever been? No? Then you have no right to condemn the mouse and his lovers,(it's like food snobs who have never had a macadees, yet stick their noses in the air at us who feast with the Ronald).
So, forget the corporate money sucking, find your inner child and for a few weeks relax be free and be someone less immersed in the bitter and twisted real world.
Discover the magic, be inspired to find your own happy ever after.
