Hello hello people of @ThrowbackThursday How are you? Today I want to show you some photos that are actually quite old but when I found them (while reviewing my photo gallery for this activity) I was very excited because they belong to the day I received a gift that I had been waiting for for a long time, it was my birthday present that one of my friends from South Korea sent me. He knew of my love for art and especially drawing, so he promised to send me something that would be useful for my beloved hobby. And coincidentally, a couple of days ago I had sent him his birthday present which were some souvenirs alluding to my country (Venezuela) since I know that it is something that he likes a lot.

Hoy quiero mostrarles una fotos que son de verdad bastante viejas pero cuando las encontré (mientras revisaba mi galería de fotos para esta actividad) me dio mucha emoción ya que pertenecen al día en que me llegó un regalo que había estado esperando desde hacía mucho tiempo, se trataba de mi regalo de cumpleaños que me envió uno de mis amigos de Corea del Sur. Él sabía de mi afición por el arte y en especial por el dibujo, así que me prometió enviarme algo que me serviría para mi querido hobbie. Y casualmente hacía un par de días yo le había enviado a él su regalo de cumpleaños que eran algunos souvenirs alusivos a mi país (Venezuela) ya que sé que es algo que a él le gusta mucho.
But the package arrived home when I was still living in Colombia. Fortunately, I was already in the process of returning to my country, so the day after my arrival, the first thing I did was open the package.
Pero el paquete llegó a casa cuando yo aún vivía en Colombia, afortunadamente ya estaba en trámites para regresar a mi país, así que al día siguiente de mi llegada lo primero que hice fue abrir el paquete.
The information sheet attached to the package had already given me a spoiler of what was inside 😄 but that didn't matter to me because anyway, from our conversations I already suspected that it was what he had sent me, so honestly this made me even more excited and when I opened the package the first thing I did was scream with joy 😃.
La planilla de información pegada al paquete ya me había hecho spoiler de lo que venía adentro 😄 pero eso no me importó porque de todos modos, por nuestras conversaciones ya yo tenía sospechas de que era lo que él me había mandado, así que honestamente esto me di aún más emoción y cuando abrí el paquete lo primero que hice fue gritar de alegría 😃.
Yes, inside were all the professional drawing supplies, like a sketchbook, a box of drawing pencils, and another box of colored pencils 😃 Ahhhhh! And I've gotten a lot out of it since then. I'm always practicing new techniques, and luckily I still have a few blank pages left in my sketchbook to practice on.
En efecto, adentro estaban todos los implementos para dibujo profesional como un cuaderno de bocetos, una caja de lápices de dibujo y otra con lápices de colores 😃 ¡Ahhhhh! Y vaya que le he sacado provecho desde entonces, siempre estoy practicando nuevas técnicas y afortunadamente aún me quedan algunas páginas en blanco en el cuaderno de bocetos para para practicar.
