The drones I am going to be flying are all freestyle drones with no GPS controls like a regular photo drone and are a completely different beast to fly. They will do about 130 knots no problem.

It's a completely different experience and why I am putting hours of time into the simulators before going out and flying one IRL. I don't want to have to break it everytime I go out flying, lol.
Get started in the simulators. You can get FPV.SkyDive from Steam for free and probably connect your existing controller to your computer and use it. It is also available for both Android and iOS, but is limited to only 3 maps and bluetooth capable controllers (which the company makes and sells), but they have touch screen joysticks you can practice on.
