This weekend, I flew the drone near some cattle, and they were quite scared, as well as curious. The most interesting thing was that they ran across the pasture in fear of the drone.

Yeah, I’ve also noticed that it differs from animal to animal (or group to group perhaps?). That’s why I always fly to them on a great height, and then slowly come down to see how they respond. If I see they are getting scared, I go back up and leave them alone. Don’t want to scare the poor animals ;-)
With this herd however, I was extremely lucky, as they were very playful!

Yes !INDEED, it depends on a lot of things! The animals I photograph are almost always on fields next to (very busy) roads, so they’re used to quite a lot of hassle 😉
